It’s completely understandable why you felt like it’s been two months since the Remasters came out! I’ve loved having so many awesome videos each week but you definitely need some time to rest and take care of yourself! Getting that orange tree and dreaming of your Italian balcony is a good start! Hearing you get all excited about your decorating plans was too adorable.😁 You could do a Capri look to go along with the citrus theme. Maybe some blue and white to complement the terra-cotta and 🍊 and lemons 🍋! I’m imagining it all now. 😍Thank you for another set of brilliant levels! 🤩💕

Two things! First, from what you were describing about your reaction to breathing/mouth sounds, you might have Misophonia. Misophonia is when your fight or flight response is automatically triggered upon hearing certain sounds, typically chewing, lip smacking, throat clearing. I have seen people say heavy breathing can trigger it as well for them. Personally for me it's the chewing, lip smacking, dogs drinking, type sounds. I'd highly suggest looking into it, you might find it useful, even if it's just to know you aren't alone in the experience. Second! I've been watching your playthroughs of the remasters and catching up on your older TR playthroughs, and I have to say they've been so enjoyable. It reminds me of when I'd sit next to my mom as she played the games (though with less flailing through the spiders lol), or when I'd play through the house/easy levels myself. You're really good at these games, and are probably the best commentary player I've seen play them. I hope you don't mind the long message, lol, kinda got away from me. Anyway, can't wait to see more!!

The thing about sounds of breathing and chewing, OMG I have the same exact thing. I've always thougt that Im the only person with this 😢

Guides branded "Official" used to be rather crap, Prima steered me wrong in multiple occasions. The problem with these guides is they rarely seemed to be checked by the developer for accuracy and they weren't given enough art assets to properly "guide" the player. So they were always written by the sorts of staff what write guides for IGN and the advise came from that up-at-2AM energy --- they wrote what they were able to make work and moved on. The most common bad advise across all guides is "be patient and don't get greedy" when it comes to boss battles, the hit the boss once and run away for half an hour "strategy" that anybody can come up with without needing to pay for a whole darn book.

I was hoping the patch would let the OG graphics mode run at 60 fps but no, it’s still 30. I guess on PC you can have it run at whatever fps you want.

7:48 - I love Tomb Raider 2, its my second favorite classic TR after Last Revelation, but wow was that bad game design to require you to clip through the engine to climb up on the wing! I'm not sure how that got through development with the team thinking that was fine. I remember it taking me forever to figure that part out. Sure you turn the propellers off, but I thought that meant something else besides jump THROUGH the engine! Also a cool trick. One of the few glitches I discovered on my own, if you stand as close as you can to the window, directly face it and then do a roll you'll pass through the window without needing the guards to shoot it open! Neat trick if you run past them (which I usually do) instead of going directly into the water. Speaking of glitches, the first time I ever did the wall jump glitch was because I saw it listed in the achievements and looked it up so I could do it in Palace Midas.

I love how the first 3 TRs always have levels where Lara gets her weapons removed, you feel a bit vulnerable but it's exciting!!😅

Hi Suzanne, yes, the guidebooks didn't always give he easiest or fastest way to do things. Very frustrating. I bet Pierre wrote them.🙂Suzanne, I have a question that I cant' find the answer to. What is Lara's age? Some say she was born in 1969. Ohers say 1992 or 1993. What do you think?

I've just completed TR1 earlier this evening, I'm about 7 trophy/achievements from 100% but honestly they are the ones that seem impossible to me, so im happy....I'll prob do unfinished business first before TR2, but ive never seen that game before your playthrough, I Never played the pc version of Tomb Raider as a kid I also was not a fan of this or these bunch of levels on this game either haha

This level looks sooo good! I applaud the designers for giving us a colourful industrial setting with that sky instead of a typical bland grey environment. It’s a pitty that the level design didn’t properly craft the no-weapons section as, had it been the case, this level would feel even more grandious than HSC as fighting back against the Fiamma Nera is a higher stake that against the USA army. Other than that, I like that the level is pretty simple and straight-forwards with its little puzzles and exploration sections. And just let me tell you that I never noticed the lever that allows Lara to take that shortcut at the beginning of the level 😅

Suzanne, OMFG 😱😱😱.. I accidentally found my old Tomb Raider games.... Tomb Raider 1 all the way to Tomb Raider The Last Revelation. I was looking for something else this weekend and I stumbled across them. I tried to play them on my PS3 but they didn't work very well and when I was playing the Tomb Raider 2 demo it was very blurry but because all the TVs were HD and I used to play those games on my PlayStation 2 now we're in a new era with different graphics on a TV. Maybe it was a sign that it was time to get the PlayStation 5, with the remaster.

Yeah, this needed an ocean in the skybox. They would have had to animate the water somehow so it may have been outside their limits, but it doesn't look good enough for a 2024 remaster. 🤷‍♂️

I used to always make the guards shoot the window to get to the plane -- happy for this short-cut Suzanne! Now I can get there the underwater path.

The rifle can do long range targeting, downside is that you can't be moving.

I wanted to see the sea too 😔 The level* is very drab and I’m not sure what they could really do about it other than make that a nice moment but they kinda made it worse 🥴 Great video as always.

These are definitely the least impressive upgrades in the remaster so far - as you say, they’re not the most attractive levels. Definitely nothing wrong with your sound issue - as someone else pointed out, it sounds like misophonia, it’s not too uncommon. Will have to have a look through my video, I don’t recall that concrete being there outside, wondering if it was in the patch. ps love your hair in this!

It does feel like its been out way longer. I'm only ~ half way through 1 and 2 and haven't touched 3. Just played until I got to parts that made me go "Yeah I can take a break here."

In my honest opinion they need to drop a patch set allows you to use Lara's Tomb Raider 3 moves in all 3 of the remastered games including sprinting, since they updated Tomb Raider 1 for Lara to roll in the air and underwater they may as well add sprinting to it as well as making the keys more visible.

people always ask why Lara was locked up in a room with an easy escape. the truth is the fiamma nera had no cell on the rig to lock her up. so they improvised locking her in a storage room and blocking off the door button hoping Lara would be out cold till her interrogation.

I also would have sworn it had been 2 months with all that's happened and all. I don't know any channel, with creative content, as prolific as you (apart from @beardogetsscared perhaps). Fascinating you refer to the guidebook route to the rig interior. I played this level recently and probably played the guidebook way, much more difficult with no weapons (and no medipacks as standard for me), trying to get past the goons but also encouraging one to shoot the windows. I would have tried your way if I'd found the lever by the water pump earlier 🙂. I think they said this was the 'first' patch, so obviously more to follow, rather disappointing for all those boy racers and as you point out it HAS been a month. This I'm afraid is the 'modern' trend of 'maintenance releases' as in BUG FIXES started by Microsoft around about 1990. I was a software developer from 1973 ... back then the whole ethos of programming through methodologies was to provide a working defect free system ... small rant 🙄. Re. the look being not much different. I don't have the Remasters but I'm sure (so therefore I'm not) I've noticed over several levels now, when you switch to 'classic' mode it's much more blocky than I have been experiencing playing the originals. I'm sure you got harpoons from the frogmen whistling past your ears in the originals, or was it just me. You got the 🍊tree 😊 ... I'm sure your 🕊🕊🕊will be very happy ... and of course your Italian theme 🍋🥭 will require you to hang out your 🥼👕👖... haha. Great job 💙.

In your opinion would you say the patch actually improved things especially the sometimes janky camera and that gosh darn alarm was always so annoying!

There is video about the whole tomb raider two, where in a part of the video the person attempts to pinpoint the location of the offshore rig. According to this, the offshore rig is located in the Ionian sea.

I can imagine how exhausted you are 😓, but it also feels like more time has passed to me... and that's because we're having a great time! I loved all the Bartoli's hideout and Opera House, and the new graphics so far 💕🤩

The start with the prison break, the first secret and a dangerous underwater turbine with a suction effect is very interesting. Felt really good to get Lara's pistols back. 12:10 The lounge is one of the nicer, cozier rooms on this level. And the sleeping area is something different too. A bit tight though. 3:50 There is a beautiful sky on the rig roof. Here I used the photo mode and took some nice photos from different perspectives. 16:10 With the photo mode you can zoom out or zoom in higher and capture and see so much more without the view being blocked. 😎😉 21:00 Somehow the opponents feel “stupid” when it comes to dealing out damage. A few new ones are being added that can withstand more. This is how I imagine a control room. This large room with the height, the water basin, the jumping pads and the frogmen in the water is not really my thing either and costs me energy in combination with all these noises. I have a weak stimulus filter. I am highly sensitive with all my senses, or I have a hidden mixture of high sensitivity, Asperger's autism and AD(H)D. I think it's high sensitivity for me. However, thank God it is not so pronounced for me, or rather not enough to affect me in terms of illness. Thank God at least that. The atmosphere in this level with the annoying alarms, the squeaking noises and the superimposed machine noise is realistic, but it costs me a lot of energy. In real life, this would be an unbearable situation for me, where I can only survive by closing my eyes and ears. And then I would have to recharge or fill my batteries and my energy balance again in a quieter, less stimulating place.

I enjoyed playing this level too. I feel that Tomb Raider 2 had the best levels. In one of the levels in Tomb Raider one, one of the keys was impossible to see until I pressed the start button haha.

Offshore rig and Diving area and 40 fathoms were updated The deck Maria Doria and Living Quarters not Tibet and China yes... so sadly full experience of wreack probably after next patch. But its worth to play just for 40 fathoms :)

Hi Suzanne, Please try to use the photo mode some times. All you have to do is press the two left and right thumbstick buttons at the same time and the game freezes and you can look around. Its great to get close to enemies to see all the details.

I game on my Lenovo Legion Go. It feels so good to play modern games and then switch to classics. I was playing Breath Of The Wild yesterday. It’s completely different to Ocarina Of Time and Majora’s Mask.

I remember having trouble with the guards at the beginning of this level and the getting squashed by the barrels too lol, I did not know there was a lever in that pool with the plane.

Eee half way through and hope you notice the computer screen has readable text on it and a running Lara in the red outline! (In the room to the side of the 2 pools, but those appear throughout the level too and are in the end bit before you hear the monk)
