@Priya K When I said its ahead of his time that doesn't mean it wasn't a good music.It means people can still enjoy songs which came out 20-30 yrs ago with the same freshness! There is no such thing called new songs-old songs when it comes to AR Rahman's songs.We can still get the feeling of first tym hearing when we listen to songs of Roja!! A lot of songs are being made by a lot of music directors these days.How many of these songs will you listen to after some 10 or 20 yrs?!They all are good music but only a few can make music which is ahead of time!!

@Priya K Not every 90's or 80's songs are ahead of its tym.We cant say Ilayaraja songs are ahead of tym.Because they were all much celebrated when they first came and still its being enjoyed by millions.They are classics. (Not saying that AR Rahman dont have any classics).Either you agree with me or not, there are many albums by ARR which wasn't praised when it first came out and now people realise it was a masterpiece!!Thats what ahead of tym means.And AR Rahman music is the only one I will say 'ahead of tym' .I dont know abt these other bollywood stuff! Well, you can say there are some bollywood songs by ARR which wasn't appreciated much(still not appreciated).Thats why bollywood makes some shitty music these days!

I hope you have heard abt the movie 'Thiruda Thiruda'.That movie has AR Rahman's masterpiece songs.Except the song 'Chandhralekha',songs from that album wasn't praised much when it came out (almost 30 yrs ago).Because his composition was way too ahead of that time! (30 yrs ago)Because it wasn't much enjoyable for kollywood when compared to the songs of that tym.'Rasathi' song from that film is a masterpiece by ARR.That songs is much appreciated now...almost 20-30 yrs later!! I'm not a person who comments on all famous ARR compositions "wow! ahead of tym😃" I know exactly what it means! This song is also like that.Just in case you enjoyed this song when it first came out doesn't make this song to be called 'ahead of tym'!!
