That's the only problem that I can see with Eminem's fan base: most of the fans only acknowledge Eminem's verses but they hardly ever acknowledge the people being featured. Most of the comments I see are about Eminem and that's natural and goes for any artist, but I'm usually lucky enough to find that one guy who acknowledges the ones being featured so whenever I see a comment like this, I think to myself "finally"
@@TexanSilver to be fair it isnt nearly worth to talk about his features. They are always awesome and I would be more surprised if they sounding casual or out of place.
@@justgermanpleasexcusemywri3618 well, there are some features that I won't really care if they're mentioned or not but then there's others that do their jobs as a feature and make the song better that I feel deserve recognition for, like on Those Kinda Nights, I think there's 1 comment I saw that actually talked about Ed Sheeran and how good he goes with Em's songs and I was glad that someone finally gave Ed some recognition because he made the song so much better than what it already was, and like I said, it's natural for fans to talk about the main artist since it's their song, but it just feels like most artists that get featured by Eminem almost never get the recognition that they deserve, even if they themselves are popular
I thought it was ‘can’t listen to a rose’ as a reference to a rose that grew from concrete the Tupac poem. I haven’t fact checked any of this. Just saying high level lyrics mean whatever to whoever. As long as you catching feels it’s kinda the point.
Eminem is a legendary artist. If you ask anyone +50yo to name one new era rapper they might not no even single one but everyone does know who Eminem is
Well it does have one of the greatest rappers and another rapper than died not too long ago so it isn't suprising it's the number one song on the album
@@zr2424 yeah but problem is it gets tiring to listen over and over because of that typical fast flow. We know em can do it but slow and calm flow would do the trick for new style.
When people say Eminem doesn’t put the same passion into his music, this is one of the songs I show them. This album honestly and the Deluxe album. They were both really well done.
Man eminem fans are so lucky they still get to hear the legend with new songs even in 2020.. How great would have been if 2pac was alive and droping some new songs e once in a while!
Yuni Wulandari I appreciate you explaining the meaning of the wordplay a little deeper. I understood the nuanced meaning, but I realize some people may not or may even have just missed it? I have been known to listen to a new song several times from Eminem, just to be able to even CATCH everything! So, again, thank you for breaking it down, politely, a little more Incase someone missed it! 🙂
Some targets will get the killshot (MGK, when Em did the song Killshot dissing MGK), some I just bearly nick them (Nick Cannon and basically dismissing his diss)
Wolf Man why you being like that man can you not respect the fact that some people might be able to relate to it or maybe their sensitive your just being a total dickhead and there’s no need for it
Late reply but you're absolutely right bro. The flow, cadence, wordplay, punchlines, puns and metaphors just thrown at our face, some subliminally that I won't recognize until I hear it again. Em is Mozart of rap. Case closed.
Never took much to convince Dre Never been swayed by color or skin shades Since day one, Hellraiser with twin blades of a sensei Givin' up, no comprende. 🔥🔥🔥
The fact that snoop had to explain y he did not keep em in his top 10 while eminem never mentioned snoop in his top 10 and never had to give any explanation for that tells us he is the true goat, Tupac and biggie no matter are legends but the fact that they died early gives them a soft side too, they didn't have to probe themselves again and again, nas on the other hand has illmatic as his best album but after that I don't think he ever made a generation defining album or anything. Em has a lot of years to come and tbh, the songs are gonna just get more legendary. He'll prove again he is the GOAT, and critics would be like, fuck him he's nowhere near goat

The "Arose" reference makes me believe that Marshall feels that there are people who truly appreciated "Revival", shared his fears and worries. I can also remember the NYC emotional performance of "Walk On Water"; I guess Em felt the support there, so this song is probably a grateful response to the fans. It makes me even more glad to see so many "Arose" comments in this section. \_(-_-)_/
Yo, his second verse made me remember why music is so important to me. 2018 suicide survivor here and I know the all time low. Em I've always loved your music, still do, been a fan for years. Always you speak to my soul and give me recollection of who I am and where I come from. Much LOVE!
This is seriously one of his best tracks of all time. The lyrics, the flow at this stage of his career, the beat, the hook, the feature. My word. Timeless

Sarah marie mathers Eminem deserves it no matter who he’s against. He’s been through so much struggle and physical pain where as these new rappers felt a couple pills down their throat and went night night
As a Mac fan, I kinda understand it. Both had random release times and everything is based on the labels. Credit to Em. I'm just glad Mac's on billboard next to him
@@TBD-YT that's a bit disrespectful. Mac struggled with addiction just like Marshall. No need to trade a soul for a soul man. We're not living in the age of the avengers. All love, don't disrespect anyone dealing with addiction. Think about if it was someone in your family brother. Just saying.
I was drunk asf on Jan 30 2020 and my mom was hospitalized for cancer. Point is something in me told me to go visit her; but drunk me made me lazy lol but I honestly told myself wtf nah I gotta go see her. On my Uber ride there I heard this song once I arrived to the hospital and I got into the room and I seen her connected with tubes and I cried like crazy. She passed in my arms….fuck…anyways appreciate your loved ones before it’s too late. I miss her so much. I love to hear this song but I hate that I only hear it when I drink lol
I swear if eminem did 4 or 5 music videos for his albums he would be 10 times bigger in 2020. I want unaccommodating, no regrets for sure and probably some more..
Fax!!!! He needs to string out more Music Videos he’s amazing at making them but the process is the problem it has the to be at the right time but with the pandemic happening it’s more difficult👊🏽🐐🎯💯
Graz A lot of 90’s rap fans like all of the legends but when It comes to Eminem, they can’t accept him. They label Eminem as “cringe” and they say he makes unmeaningful and stupid music.
@@citric3138 Ain't that the fuckin truth! That man has got too much talent to have ever been gone, he has always been very consistent with his bodies of work in my opinion! I actually think the revival album was pretty damn good honestly, it just wasn't what a lot of people wanted from him so everyone said it was trash but I still think it was pretty good overall! It was better than 90% of the hip-hop that's played on the radio these days!
Is was back with Revival already... He gas always been here. And many of you doubted him, criticized him when he poured his heart out... That's kinda what is implied in this song but people still don't get it saying he is "finally" back.......
That line carries a little more weight now. “All the hate can’t tell exactly where it stems from, but it’s happening again huh. Y’all use to be in my corner. Now you just back me in one”
He clearly explained why he didn't go hard on MGK, Its like dropping a nuke bomb on top of an ant hill, It will bring him down to their level. Em is just too much of a legend to do that.
Instead of going back and forth on whether or not he's the GOAT (which he is), let's just enjoy the fact that he still cares about his craft. He still goes hard to make sure he's giving his fans the very best he can. Is he going to kill every single beat? Probably not, but rest assure he's going to give you a bar or two, or three, that's going fly over your head because you're too busy debating if he deserves to be your top 5. Thank you, Marshall.
"Forgive and forget is the only thing I'd ever live to regret... my enemies ain't put an end to me yet" Goes down as one of the hardest bars Em's ever spit, off one of the best songs I think I've heard in literally years, what can you tell me about this man? 🐐 shit
"'Cause my first thought is to trample and write a thousand bars But sometimes it's like dropping' an anvil on a house of cards Or Godzilla squashin' a crouton with combat boots on Or droppin' a goddamn nuke bomb on top of an anthill" The man summarizing his entire career in 4 verses.
