At the moment I'm running a strength lightning build, main thing I use is throw and my gear allows me to get back focus pretty fast so I end up just spamming it and the lightning staggers bosses and enemies so fast. I did also get an enchanted claymore that has I think 20% extra cold damage on it then I added another gem that gave me another 14% cold damage
Sorry to hear that Just use any white Faith scale weapon with same runes till you get one dropped ! I have good amount of them dropped in Crucible Runs pretty often
Unfortunately, your build is like every other build out there: Go for focus and focus regen -> stack damage -> oneshot everything by pressing 1 button -> blink to the next mob -> pretend to be still playing a souls-like, instead of a braindead low-mob-density-diablo-snoozefest which doesn't even have procedural generation. This game was great when we still had to interact with and respect the enemies. It was amazing. The current endgame is ignoring every single mechanic which makes this game shine. It's just sad.
LUL as if there were no 1 shot builds in Souls Game and Elden Ring... Also, why do you attack someone creating a strong build with the mechanics the game supports, as if he was the designer behind it. Touch grass
I do have to admit that lots of builds would turn this game into a hack and slash type rather than an arpg with a focus on precision like the devs wanted it to be. Maybe some sort of cooldown for runes would be a good start.
They're gonna put out dozens of balance patches till launch. It is ok that players find a way to abuse some mechanics so the devs can figure out what they want to do with that.
I agree with most takes about this game and your guys points ! It’s good that we keep find it builds and op runes and etc . , that’s the whole point of early access in the games ! Seems like devs addressing issues fast and it’s good for the game to see what need to be addressed for balancing. As for the focus I still want us be able to spam to some extent runes abilities, because it’s fun and they really important for players who enjoy mages and archer type of play styles, but it need to be balancing to them , maybe add that they consume portion of your stamina of some sort , or maybe have short cooldowns like someone mention above .
Because I like stun lock on boss that Dried Hive give you when you attach Fire Nova . You have enough use for 4 hits than pop potion , hit one more time and boss dead . You also can kill boss in one go by using Fie Nova 2 times and than use Helfire that can hit for 700+ dmg but it’s risky since boss can hit you mid way you flying to smash him and kill you . I did try Spirit Edge with both throws and didn’t find useful on boss , it’s much easier to kill him with Drive Hive . But by all means of course play the game you like man , I never tell people that I have the best builds and blindly follow them , I just show set ups I like to play and everyone should adjust to they own like and playstyle !
Awesome... The way that you defeated the boss...a simple formality... Like in solo leveling level 100 against Baer !! QUestion : where did yoou get the ice throw ? i have the fire one but can't find out the ice...
Hey there It comes from a one handed sword that can drop randomly anywhere in the world, I forgot the name of it , but it look little bit like a wooden sword on the picture. You can just extract rune from it
Unfortunately it’s a random drop in the world from enemies ! I do have bunch of them drop in Crucible runs tho , at least every 2nd or 3rd run Before you can find sword , just run any white weapon that scales with Faith and attach same runes and once you find Spirit Edge just dismantle your old weapon and get your Ice Throw rune back since you can buy blink and surge from vendor
