I just realized. Letting Viola (Ellen) get caught by the legless girl (Viola) is the best good ending, because she'll switch back to her body and escape, while Ellen remain in her rotten body, nearing her deserved death. 😊
Unfortunately, from what I've heard about the lore, both parties have to consent for the spell to work. Also from what I've heard it requires a vocal component, which makes her burning the throat an extra layer of fucked up.
No you can't! In order to make the swap magic work! Both side need to agree to swapped souls! What make you think ellen would agree to go back to her original form! The only good thing if you let viola grab ellen is Ellen wouldn't get her new body and new life ,her plan died with her! That's the best outcome! Viola in Ellen body slis still dead!
@@starlyght9390you can look up Ellen’s diary and find the information online. You can also look up The Witch’s House manga as it’s discussed in there too I believe, which you can read online too.
So... the secret ending is just the true ending but it reveals ahead of time that the person inside Viola's body was Ellen... considering what you have to do to get this ending, that isn't that worth it IMO HAHAHAHA
Anyone know games like this where the bad guy win in the end? Most game always had the good guy win in the end and tend to shy away from cruelness which makes witch house very UNIQUE
@@lemonlimespine5572 Super late but this can be done in a normal playthrough, the condition is to do a saveless playthrough, and then take the knife from the cabinet at the end. IDK if Easy Mode factors in, it probably does. Extra Mode should actually have it's own small tweaks of this ending...
It can actually be done on easy mode, but a retry just counts as returning from a save point. So no matter which mode you choose you can't die at all. The no save secret dialoge is no different on any mode. Hope this helps!
