The feeling after a good match knowing I won’t be immediately punished for doing well is so relieving. It doesn’t matter how many bugs or flaws this game has I can play this way longer than I can play mwiii.
In sbmm you are rewarded with better opponents that provide a more suitable challange for your skill group. Winning gunfights against people below your level is gonna get stale very fast.

same here. it's nice to have the opportunity to play in a much more relaxed manner and still do decent. im so sick of the past 5 years of being put with wanna CDL players because i do good for one match.
ain’t the title the truth dawg, it’s finally here. i’ve had a full 6 on the game since launch and the boys are loving every second of it. it’s awesome this game revived the squadron. they were getting bodied in my cod lobbies and i just had to sit there helplessly knowing they were having a terrible time. games far from perfect but it’s free and fun, that’s all that matters. W xdefiant
@@HandlerYT i know and at the beginning of summer, when everyone came home from college, perfect time for the drop. it’s not much different from the betas so i wish we had gotten it sooner but i couldn’t care less now that it’s here. well worth it none of my friends got cod this year and i don’t blame them. they were like 3-27 in my lobbies when we tried out the beta. and remember how bad the spawns were in the beta? lmao, they did NOT like it
Brooooo I would have to try to carry my friends but I had fun doing it since they made me laugh with the shit talk while they're at the bottom of the leaderboard by saying "we still won". I don't have friends playing it with me yet but I do hope so soon
IMO: It is a good game with enormous potential, there are issues that I would like to see fixed, such as more game modes and playlists, making it a little bit easier to level up the weapons, having rewards or something after getting a "kilkstreak" ,have more sense of replayability once "everything" is done, etc etc (i know this is just the second day of the game and i have to be patience, dont reply it) but other than that, Xdefiant is outstanding, and let's hope that with the passage of updates they make it even better and more fun. And nope guys, this is not the "Cod killer", but it is a more fun FPS than the latest Call of Duty titles.
6:36 As much as I would like that ult to affect everyone inside it (to "balance" it), what happened there was the enemy popped his ult inside Handler's ult. So it wasn't Handler's ult that was giving him the bonus hp and healing unfortunately
That’d be a neat feature for the ult but yep I agree. You can see the enemy’s bubble appear and disappear a couple seconds after Handler’s bubble. Good eyes!
I've been enjoying it, fair bit of wins and losses, don't ever feel like I'm getting stomped... Yet. Biggest complaint is hit reg, feels super weird like half the time I'm mag dumping someone and they just turn around and kill me in a few bullets. I see this complaint on other games but I REALLY feel it on this one every few matches.
Yeah I feel liked I get "ping diffed" alot with this game. Like I'll get a hitmarker as I die, but I'll do no damage. Ik this is somewhat normal in fps games, but it just seems to happen alot in XDefiant, even when I have good ping.
Refreshing to actually know how good or bad you are AND THEN KNOW WHAT AREAS TO IMPROVE IN compared to CoD where A SOLO QUEUE FEELS LIKE A STAGE TOURNAMENT.
I lost interest in multiplayer FPS, one of the reasons is SBMM on CoD. So its good to see that at you wont be forced to have to sweat all the time in this game.
Not really. The game has a welcoming mode which HAS SBMM up until you reach level 25, same goes for the upcoming ranked mode. You still need to sweat in the No SBMM servers though. Since there’s nothing from stopping the #1 players in the game from being matched against a literal fetus.
The no sbmm is extremely nice. I am an average player and on cod if I drop like 50 kills I immediately get punished with a sweaty lobby. On this game I dropped 50 kills and the next lobby is the same. It’s so nice, I get to actually PLAY THE GAME
For there being no SBMM I am surprised of the amount of sweaty players I come across. I don't know if gamers are just better these days or what, but It definitely feels like a more organic experience. The mix of player skill per game is really nice and despite the game prioritizing ping/location/party size over KDR or player skill, my games have been all pretty close games. I have very few complete stomps.
SBMM has been around for a while now. Naturally playing against your skill level or above all the time will improve your skills as every game you have to try really hard and constantly improve

I enjoy this game, like what a lot of others are saying, no SBMM makes this game fun. I just wish the Sonar goggles or the pistol is nerfed in the future
People are such cry babies about sbmm, if sbmm truly only matches you with players of your skill level, and nothing else. It's the "everybody gets a trophy" generation and mentality. I for one, seek out challenges. I'm Gen X. I've never even played with aim assist on. Currently I play Combat Master on my iPad, and I play with Crossplay on (so I'm matched against PC players on m&k as well). I LOVE this challenge. Give me the BEST players possible. That's the only way you'll know how good you are. Currently I'm number 150 in the Hardcore League out of over 8000 players in that league.
no there isn’t. there’s sbmm in the welcome playlist. there’s no sbmm or eomm whatsoever. just team balancing but i queue with a full 6 so idk how tf that works lol
When I watch clips on RU-vid, it takes .00000000000001 seconds to kill someone, but when I actually play the game, it takes an entire goddamn clip lol love the game though
Handler I’d suggest using the med pack you can throw down instead of the stim thing. It stays for a good while and I feel like you get more from it especially if you wanna stay in the fight and re peak the same angle
I’m excited to play a game that isn’t just: -My teammates are brain dead playing against regular skill players Or -My teammates are decent and we completely stomp the other team…. Maybe every so often you get a fair skill level match up game in MW3 but most of the games are one of those two. It’s become pretty boring for me and I love the game. Another gripe about MW3; What the fuck is up with the map selection?!? Maybe 8 out of 10 lobbies are shit maps repeated over and over and eventually you Might get one of the good maps… Also, a shit map is a shit map it doesn’t matter if it’s “Halloween” themed it makes it even worse. So now you have double the chance to get the same damn map! Holding out hope I like xDefiant. The only thing I don’t like is the whole player ability stuff. I hated BlackOps 4 mostly because of that :(

The slightly increased TTK also helps IMO. Still sucks if you're getting one-shot by an M44, but if that happens play a Phantom for the extra health LOL.
i remember how ppl were clowning on this game back when the first teasers dropped years ago, to see how they listened and revamped the game should have been a dead giveaway to what they were focused on; us.
Meanwhile my matches consist of getting killed instantly by people I got multiple hitmarkers on yet they remained at full health. And I average 25-30 ping.
I must be in the wrong lobbies because it’s a sweat fest playing unranked hot shot every game. I’m either playing 6 stacks or 6 well coordinated players who always stick together. It’s wild.
Lower?? How would that make sense if I’m playing sweats every game. I ain’t the greatest but I can shoot my gun. Not to mention no SBMM means it wouldn’t matter what my rank or skill is…..

"I like when I'm matched with players worse than me, I get more kills". the casual gamers get paired with sweaty streamers, casual gamers leave, sweaty streamers get paired with sweaty streamers, they cry that the game has been ruined, then the game is dead.
Ive enjoyed xDefiant a good amount since release. Ive noticed that i want a hardcore mode where it doesnt take as much ammo to kill one guy. Aswell as a SND type gamemode.
The only bad thing I see is that it takes a while to kill and when you are shooting at a sniper it can perfectly take 2 seconds until you kill him and the sniper has enough time to shoot you.
I'm playing this and the finals atm. Sure both games have issues but I don't think I need the next cod for my fps fix. I'm glad there is competition in fps games again.
SBMM bas been plague on FPS games for the better part of a decade. Literally nobody wants it and they continue to implement. For gamers, by gamers. The entire issue with the gaming industry right now is solely because companies make it; for gamers, by marketers. Hopefully this game pops off and we can finally build s community again. We used to be able to make friends, run our mouths, crush the weak and bend the knee to the strong. The gaming industry just needs tk grow tf up. Life ain’t about money. I make a fraction of their CEO’s and Shareholders, and I would still rather play the OG Black Ops over the bs they drop yearly. It’s literally the same game reskinned. Even the bugs are the same. It’s fucking embarrassing.
Suurrreeelllyyy there will be a one life mode coming to xdefiant. It will have BO2 vibes and honestly, I'd be all for that. The tracking and flicks are on point. As always, incredibly smooth gameplay.
what were your big changes for the settings? I can't seem to figure out my perfect sens, feels floaty almost... I have similar sens to you on call of duty and 4k polling rate. Great content as always sir!
if this game continues to be great, it won't be a cod killer, but it'd definitely cripple cod enough to where they are forced to actually fix their game if they want to stay in the market
I had a couple of games where I start getting shit on but I don't back out like I did with mw2 or mw3. It's pretty cool to know that next game I could be the ones doing the best. Most kills I've gotten In a game so far is 70s. Feels nice knowing I could have fun using any gun without having to worry too much about meta rn. I'm loving LMGs like the rpk. I got 6 man feeds using it with the firebomb cleaner as my favorite class rn. Good luck out there fellas cuz this game is fun even with a shit ton of ttv and squads I'm going against
