Very cute as always !!!! I love my hook turning thing !!! I don’t know how you use it but here how I do . Put leg on the rod ,poke hook out other end hook some fabric and make sure the bar like thing goes up when you start to pull. I also fold in some of the fabric in before I start to really pull on it . Hope this help you a little !!

You always have the coolest fur...color, pile length. But I can't find fur like yours or there are so many choices I don't know which to pick. I already get the fur from Amazon (Grey & white from Shannon's I think) any other places you can recommend looking?

Hi Sara. I'm trying to make a shelf sitting hippy and I'm stumped. I want the hat area to be scruffy hair with a bandana. What would you use for the body to have weight and talk enough to have the hair , bandana and heard and also have glasses to add to his face. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Robin

I use Styrofoam cones, paper maché cones, Styrofoam eggs, Styrofoam balls, pool noodles, and fabric bodies. I'm one of those crafters who doesn't like doing the same thing over and over, so I'm constantly changing it up. :) What do you like to use, Christine? The cones?

You could make the shoes and cut out the portion in the middle in a U-shape. Then, thread a thin, satin ribbon through them.

The detail tip helps to mirror the sewn look and works better for me when doing detail work. That said, many people use their full sized guns (I am sort of messy when I do and found the detail is better for my heavy handed gluing).
