Yes it's extremely durable, but you can also glue velcro onto the hat and ears to make them removable for suitcase packing

Would you suggest hot glue or maybe would a like a super glue work as well if you don't have hot glue?

A Super glue gel could work you just have to have something to hold it in place while it dries.

How do you get the ears to stand up so perfectly? I made one and the ears are very floppy.
