Aww thank you so much, Debbie. I'm moving "home" - we have family here and, after so long being so far away, I'm loving every minute being near them. Thank you so much for watching along and being part of this community, Debbie.
Oh a gnome pillow!! How absolutely adorable!! Oh every crafter needs one for their bed!! Well sad to say not camping or crafting until my hubby gets walking again. Well at least he starts Physical Therapy and I can sneek in my craft room and at least make a pillow....right? LOL Take Care and tell Mom HI! YE'ALL!😂😁
I LOVE him I’m in the process of making him right NOW 😵💫 I’ve had to come back to this tutorial quite a few times to see how the beard fits cuz I’m using (drumroll) DOLL HAIR 😲 I found TONS of different colors at the ReSource store so I’ve been going back and forth between this tutorial and the Xmas Santa you made with the doll hair 😮💨 I’m PRAYING it comes out ok if not the hair was only .50 cents a bag 🤷🏻♀️ you can send ANY scraps of beard right my way hunny I’ll take that off your hands REAL QUICK!!!! Outstanding work on this one 🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️
I adore this little guy I especially like the simplistic way to make him and it’s just as cute as any other nome thank you so much for the inspiration God bless PS if you go to Walmart and buy their bed pillows and use the poly fill out of them it is much much cheaper than poly fill and it’s the exact same thing hope that helps
I have been trying to teach my granddaughters to sew, but I know they will love this gnome & I am sure they will forgive the ‘no sew’ aspect! 🤣 Thank you. - he is adorable. 👍
Oh wow, Maureen - teaching them to sew is such a great skill for them to learn. I wish I would have learned much younger. Have fun sharing this one with your granddaughters.
He looks so easy and cute. I was thinking it would be great to make some 6 inches tall or so and about 3 to 4 inches wide (would have to make a few to see how they would look) to put on a Christmas tree by adding a second piece of string at the top of the hat with a loop to it can hang over the branches and just a little weight to keep him in place. What do you think?
Right?! Elise actually was sitting next to me (packing up her crafting cabinet) and said, "I can make that one!" :) Thank you so much for watching along today, Debbie.
This is awesome! A great sub for Christmas cookie making for those families like mine who have gone sugar and dairy free😁 I’m making a list of craft supplies to get right now❤
Of course, I love my sewing machines. And just an FYI, this can easily be adapted (as most of my patterns can) to sewing. Additionally, I have a ton of sewing tutorials using the Cozy, Scandi Sweeties, Wild, and Bubble gnome patterns. If you go to playlists and look for those names, there are oodles of tutorials.
I just picked it up at a thrift store, washed it, and then started cutting it up. LOL I created him and a few more projects for a fall display I want to make for the new house. And thank you so much. :)
Based on my traffic, so far yes. :) I think you'll see a lot of rich, velvet in jewel tones this year in addition to the red, gray, and white which is so common.
