Walking along the southwestern part of Vasilyevsky Island, I often drew attention to the interesting building of the Marine Station. Going to this part of the city again, I decided to take a look at the interiors of the building and learn a little more about the history of the structure. I am sharing with you a short story about this unusual attraction.
It makes sense to go to the Marine Station today. The square of Maritime Glory, blown by the Baltic wind, the almost deserted central hall, the stairs along which passengers once scurried - all this still preserves the memory of the former purpose of this place. And perhaps this memory, like respect for gray hair, does not allow the authorities to put an end to his story, but with a beautiful sequel, as happened with the "Five Glasses" in Pulkovo, everything somehow does not work out.
