You are a Sheep. We came 3rd behind 2 other teams. So you expect the same team to do better without any fresh blood and without a friggin DM . Friggin FSG sheeps
@@kamscall No, that's zero sense. This is FSG that owns Liverpool, they will only use so much funds for transfers. This is Arne Slots first season and no one knows what he might get out of existing players like dm (gravenberch, Curtis jones, Bajcetic), forwards too. A DM would be great for backup, but no role is absolutely nessesary now, until we know how his system plays in the prem. Forward definitely is just you waffling, there are a million options at the club for forwards and Liverpool shouldn't sign a new forward without selling Salah first. Its either DM, CB or LB if anything.
Arme has a eye for putting people in the right position and with the training you will see players standing up of which everyone thought he was mid at best
@@pauljansen1137 I’ve seen a lot of Dutch people commenting on various videos. From all clubs speaking highly of this guy. It’s great to hear, especially from the Dutch fans who support other clubs than Feyenoord, speaks volumes about what we are in for.

Arne Slot is their best transfer in years hè Will make the difference with his ultimate football system.Liverpool Will be a killingmachine and destroys all the teams in the PL.
I trust FSG 100% they do things right. Arne inherited absolutely quality side, that just needs polishing around the edges. What message would it say to the boys if he went in making wholesale changes when he’s got some talent to work with.
The real issue for me is durability of the squad and how many injury prone playeres we have, this exacerbated by summer tournaments and players having little rest and even more games to play next season, we cannot stand still.
Every team has injury prone players, it's just how it is, we just got unlucky last year that they all came at once. Matip and Thiago have now at least left the club so there's 2 less to worry about

The club already stated no business till August. As they said in the video, not all first teamers are back, it's a new system, we shouldn't rush into signings. Edwards (and Hughes) handling transfers perfect as always.
They don't have to rush a lot of the side Are on holiday and resting after there respective tournaments. However some U23 players will be at the Olympics.
@@declangaming24 Completely agree, patience will serve us well. Post-tournament players defo need the rest too, don't want to rush them back to an intensive training regime and risk an injury, albeit minor or serious, better to avoid.

@BOOGERBOY1 Because there are worse owners out there. Hicks and Gillet, Man Utd style owners who saddle the club with debt and borrow money using the club, etc. I'm not saying that there aren't potentially better owners out there, but I can't just assume that anyone is better than FSG because that's clearly not true. It's quite simple, really. Unless you know who or what is replacing them, then be careful what you wish for.
I see some comments comparing it to Man U post Fergie. I say you don't know football!! Fergie left an aged, old, decrepit squad behind him, many key players a season or 2 from retirement or well past their best. Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Giggs, Van Persie, Carrick, that's half the first team squad!!!. Man U have still not recovered from what Fergie left behind, he was more interested his own glory than leaving behind a healthy team. This is totally different, Arne is inheriting an amazing young squad full of talent. Average age of the squad is just over 23 and already capable of winning cups and challenging for the league, at that age is fantastic. Its nothing like what Fergie did to Man U. Leave them be, let Slott work with the squad and then make own decisions based on what they have, I wouldn't be surprised if they sign no one! Personally i think they need a a world class striker, Darwin as entertaining as he is, i don't see him improving, misses way to many golden opportunities, he didn't land many punches in that Copa America brawl, nor did he land the chair throw he attempted!!!! Also a world class DM would be amazing, but who is the next world class DM. I don't know!

Man United went from one of the greatest managers ever to a bang average British manager. Slot's style of play, intelligence and record in the Dutch league should not be compared. Those comments are coming from wishful thinking Manc fans probably.
@@JoshGraham-l4byour attitude appears to be very spurs, you should go follow them. I look at existing alternatives I agree with Nunez and Diaz. But look at the shape Salah has returned in he will play until he is 40 and certainly 3plus of those years top level. Ben doak the up and coming right winger looks amazing. Cody gakpo had an amazing euros as LW I'd put him in ahead of Diaz. Which leaves nunez as stated liverpool need a world class striker he is not that. Furthermore having seen how liverpool are setting up under slott the reliance on wingers and bombing fullbacks is not there anymore. New era son, bring it on.
Another CB and DM for me and we keep everyone else. Good enough for me for now, but we do need another RW/Attacker who can score goals, Nunez misses too much and Salah legs are done
Emery’s English was terrible when he joined arsenal we could barely understand what he easy saying, however fair play to him he went back to Spain and studied again. I love that about a person.
As august ticks down the prices will have far more volatility, both up and down. Trying to drag top targets away from their teams when they don't have time to replace them is the wrong approach for me.
They did. But what he said at the end was right. The expectation at Liverpool Football Club should be to start every season with the goal to win everything.
jon henry has always fancied paying media to spout his nonsense instead of buying top players. Cheaper way to diffuse protest after what happened to the previous lot.
FSG has done so much for Liverpool, and I'm sure they'll continue doing more. No point in becoming Chelsea or Moan Utd and buying just for the sake of buying. I like the squad, and if managed well it should do well.

Fans generally are idiots, and react like children. They just want to see signings because it will make them feel good, then if those signings do poorly they'll slag off the team for signing bad players. I want to see signings as well, but I'm glad Liverpool aren't rushing. Liverpool is good at the moment and has been good under klopp, but to win the league is not good enough i hope that shortage in the last gasps of the year everyone has seen and it is still there. One Central defender a young defensive midfielder and another Attacking midfielder is essential whether they want the language or not.
Spending money just to spend money is not a recipe for success. You need to identify what players are developing in the right direction or if another profile gives a better trajectory and it is worth the outlay. Asking for another AM is an example of not understanding what you already have. This is a club that has Szoboszlai, Elliott, Jones, Gravenberch and Mac Allister that are working AMs, several of which are only going to progress further by staying. If you are buying players is the same as those you already invested in, didn't cut it. Arsenal have spent £800 mil under Arteta and they have only won an FA cup. So if winning is the only criteria of success, they failed. But their squad can develop further if they got the right players.
If they don't sign anyone they're putting faith in the younger players, who let's face it after last season probably deserve their chance,I just hope it doesn't back fire,I'd go for a world class dm at the very least
The worst thing a team can do is make bad signings just because pundits think that they are necessary. You never know in this new system how players are going make out. And we saw last year how good the academy players are. Its more a question of the older players and their desires.
Yes, we Liverpool fans are not happy with the way transfer is being going on in the camp of Liverpool. Right now we don't have DM and no one is doing anything about it. Alcantara left no replacement matip left no replacement seriously we are not happy at all. YNWA
Liverpool finishing 6th, we waste another year of Mo Salah, we sell trent to Real Madrid next season and we use the money to buy random players from a midtable eredivisie team. The FSG way
Playing with fire. But we can only hope It is so obvious we have old or injury prone players or even worse players what only just get by and would not get in other top flight teams We really need 6/7 top flight players with talent and composure, Germany had plenty on show and I don’t see why we have not signed any We blew up so badly in April and May and from going for a quadruple we finished up with the Micky Mouse cup , the players knew klopp was leaving so if that never lifted them to win the prem or uefa trophy then nothing would Slot will win us nothing unless he signs some players of massive quality and we will be out the ucl fast
They don’t rush; they’re very wise, astute, and clever," he says, yet the evidence suggests otherwise. Before Klopp arrived, FSG and Edwards signed a series of questionable players like Assaidi, Alberto, Yesil, Cissokho, Ilori, Markovic, Balotelli, Allan, Stewart, Caulker, Manquillo, Moreno, and Teixeira. Even after Klopp’s arrival, they fell short with signings like Kabak and Davies during a defence crisis, when Rudiger and Timori were both available either on loan or permanent at that time at chelsea. And during a midfield crisis Arthur Melo as a so-called solution. This track record indicates a lack of wisdom, intelligence, and astuteness. It’s no wonder Klopp had issues with both Edwards and his assistant Ward and ultimately chose to bring in his own recruitment specialist last season. Klopp achieved not because of them, but rather, inspite of them
Edwards wasn’t even at the club when they signed Arthur. You also forgot he signed Salah, Mane, Virgil, Robertson, Fabinho, Allison and the squad responsible for our winning period of dominance.
@patrickng9643 Bro, improve your reading skills. I mentioned FSG "AND" Edwards in my comment. FSG have owned Liverpool for over 14 years, and all those players were signed under their watch. I didn’t say Edwards signed them all; Kabak and Davies were signed during Edward's tenure, and those two in particular were his signings. Similarly, Melo was signed under Julian Ward-Edwards' assistant and successor, which is why I mentioned him too. You also noted that many great signings under Klopp, like Virgil, Alisson, and Fabinho, were made under Klopp. That's the point! The key ones were Klopp signings. Many of the flops Keita aside weren't Klopps signings. This actually supports my point. Try reading things with comprehension rather than just responding.

The issue is, we keep on talking about lfc approach to transfer in the last 8 seasons but what we forget is what they'll have got in those very seasons if the direct things we keep yelling of were done. For example the quadruple chase ended coz of a DM issue, similar to the champions league we've been falling preys in the hands of Madrid coz Salah's wing has no a reliable alternative. Can we look at what city have achieved n Madrid have achieved over those years? Do they ignore the obvious things lfc does? They won domestically n did well in champions league but look, they're still strengthening even more powerful. Is lfc squard better than their's? NO
Bring back the papers for football news. At least they used to talk about new stories Social media, all you get is the same old stuff, flogging the same old stories to death.
It would be nice to get a trophy in his first season, but it's not like he gets the boot if he doesn't. I think attractive football and qualifying for europe is more or less the most realistic bare minimum. That said, do feel free to slot in them goals and win stuff lads 😄 I can think of a couple of positions where we need to strengthen, but it's a bit unfortunate he doesn't get to evaluate the complete team before they get back from the states
So you want liverpool to not winning anything? you just want attractive football and not winning anything? You want us to play in europa league with full of average players and let our best players leave. Nice
Liverpool greatest weakness and weak point is CDM they need a world class CDM like rodri, if they have they can win anything, but if again didn't sign world class CDM they will fight for top 4 and they need a back up for M. Salah too
When we look at the very top teams in the Premiership. We have to remind ourselves that there are thousands of players and supporters who would love a trip to Wembley, never mind winning a trophy.
