Finally got to play yesterday! It was definitely a learning experience. My buddy Sergio used the Fire Avatar and I used Water, Alpha Premade. I overextended on the first game and he cooked me😂. Second game I locked him out of one side of the board then flooded the middle then got him with my Kraken. Loving the gameplay and I'm really glad. It does make it the full package for me at least 😁

I didn’t buy any beta. I just don’t have much disposable income with groceries and gas being so expensive. But I think your criticism is valid, and criticism is important for companies to listen to. There’s no reason Europe (or anywhere) shouldn’t have the promos.
that is a fair point, chase! i had to cut back a lot on my purchases too. it might not look it, but if you pay close attention, i really focus on certain cards and besides that not a lot is happening for me, when it comes to purchases. and i am selling parts of my collection to finance my collection. life is honestly getting harder every month. and just because i am critical about some points, it doesnt mean i hate the game. i honestly think sorcery has a lot of potential. i just hope they don’t fuck it up 😜👊🏻😁

❤ - Regarding promos, unfortunately this is something we see across TCGs, not sure what can be done about that tbh…I guess people can just buy product from places that honor it? I received a promo with ea box from Team Covenant.
@@mikepelliyeah, i hear ya, buddy ❤️! in this case the stores not get any to begin with, so even if you ordered from one that honors it in the EU, you have no chance if getting them. i don’t know. promos are not there anymore to get people to stores, imho. distribution has changed. i’d be happy with a complete move towards box toppers only. then at least you get one 100% for sure if you buy a box. but i do not have the perfect solution neither 👊🏻

100% agree that you can’t say a damn thing that may be critical or even that can be taken negatively and that online community comes for you. As if you can’t like the game and still want them to get better. Or that as if they didn’t have some major issues with the release. The promo card system is busted. A promo to me is a little token of who was around during X time. If you're playing during the release of Beta, you should have easy access to any promo offered. Exclusive promo cards are a bad idea and leave to bad tastes in players mouths. That being said, the real issue here to me is the community censoring complaints and criticisms. Wait 6 months to a year and all these new tcg barnacles will have fallen off. They think Sorcery is just another tcg and they want to pull a stone or assemble a power 9 and move on. Get me into the Sorcery doldrums between sets where I can play and interact with real fans and I'll be happy and most of these people will be on to the next thing! For the record, I did get the promo's I wanted and I don't feel the need to say "too bad" like a lot of these scummers in the tcg community 😂
thanks for the detailed comment, crosswalk! i really appreciate it and i think you said it exactly like it is. people are quick to dismiss the slightest of critisism very aggressively. i had that as well with fab. hated the way the community was dissing people who were critical of the way they handled monarch and tales. starting to look similar for sorcery. and yes, the promo system is busted. i don’t get how that still can be done like this, despite the many times that it has proven to not work! glad we’re on the same page, buddy! 🙏🏻👊🏻😁
This game is amazing and will stand the test of time. More importantly it's not run by a greedy f like mtg. We played a 4 player game like commander and it was so much fun.

I just had you pop on my youtube Nerd. And, I am kind if interested in what you're talking about this new game Sorcery. For context I am a longgggg time off and on collector and mehhhh 'wannabe' player since Ice Age. I've had like 5 or 6 collections collected and sold over the years years. I love the game but I can't buy like I used to when I was capable of working 2 jobs. We have a new daughter and I can't work anymore so I can only get monthly disability. So anyways, I decided to try and get back into Magic. But I saw a video yesterday that showed Magic's next 3 years of sets. What the actual fuck is going on?? I cant understand what I am seeing when I'm watching that video showing all sorts of garbage. Theres like video game sets and a wild west set and then a fucking race car set and just all this ridiculousness WHERE IS THE MAGIC?! I popped back in at a horrific time. So I was watching this and I see that there was issues with you receiving your order of Sorcery. Other than that though, is it a good alternative to Magic? Since I am definitely not going to buy new sealed Magic product and I don't have enough money to buy old good stuff anymore (unless I save and save and save ad nauseum), is Sorcery something worth getting into ? Anyways
I also hailed from the Fallen Empire Thru Homelands era. Ice Age was the peak of the game for me. Still buy old stuff cheaply as ot turns up rarely though at my Pokémon crazed LGS lol

Good old days 😏 I moved away from my home state and I need to get established with an LGS here in FL see if I can find some nice deals on classic stuff. I can try REALLY hard to look for things I like in new releases, read spoilers as much as I can. I refuse to give up on Magic... As far as Sorcery, I will give it a shot in February after the holidays. Especially since it has a swords n sorcery dark edge, I love dark and evil. In fact, what made me want to play Magic was that I saw an pic of Demonic Tutor in an issue of Scrye magazine 👹 it was the absolute coolest thing I had ever seen
