What should be the strategy against a similar quality player than us, but with better reflexes? Should we stand a bit back to give ourselves more time or should we attack earlier to give opponent less time?
@pingskills
@pingskills 4 года назад
Great to see you thinking about these things. It really depends on your preference and also the opponent. Try both and see what works best. Also watch this video for some interesting thoughts on reflexes and how to improve them: www.pingskills.com/tutorials/intermediate-strokes/improving-your-reflexes Enjoy!

Can no-spin chopping technique be applied to heavy top spin case? When I tried to use less-wrist movement , ball became to go high in that case.

It is possible, you may need to adjust the bat angle if it is flying hard and ensure you are still coming down with your bat.
@joelmawthoh7712

@pingskills

How to do it in backhand??
@pingskills

The same principles apply regarding the use of the wrist, where you hit the ball and how much you brush the ball.

Great video! Thank you for putting this one out here. Definitely understood the high level concept prior to this about the "change-up" of using different spin, but had no idea you could do so with these 2 key ideas of the placement and adjusting the middle of the stroke only to make them look the same. Great stuff! Keep 'em coming!

Very nice! What if we play with long pips? Where does the contact need to be?
@pingskills
@pingskills 4 года назад
The middle of the bat or maybe in the middle but slightly towards the end of the racket is usually a good place to aim for.

can you guys make more penhold?
@pingskills

The problem is we aren't penhold players ourselves so this makes it more difficult.
