No Start? Farmers Hack for Clogged up DPF Filter on Branson Farm Tractor 🚜 

I think I'll definitely gut it soon! The DPF filter Cloggs up when the tractor is needed the most! And leaving us broke down for a day!

Yeah. The dealer came out to my house and did this to my 4015R and never had an issue. Guess I'm not tier 4 anymore.

@@davidwright9833 I had to do the same at 150 hrs used a one inch wood bit. Now more power.

@@davidwright9833 the dealer actually gutted it for you? Did he void your warranty? I'm guessing he did. I would think it would be illegal for a dealer to mess with any emissions.

Your exactly right! Put a straight pipe on it! You know they told us at Branson the tractor needs to be run above 2000 RPMs all the time for this not to happen but you know we putt putt around the farm on this thing, so the filter more than likely going to clog up once every year! So a DPF delete maybe the answer! Thanks for watching and we appreciate your comment!

@@FOSTERSFARMGARAGETV Yes, running high RPMs does keep the DPF from getting clogged, but sometimes it's not enough, specially on cold environments. You can straight pipe, or simple gut the DPF or if you are into fabrication or have a shop that can do it, you can just replace the DPF with a simple tractor muffler. I absolutely hate to have a screaming engine for really no good reason. I'm from Portugal, and these emissions stuff were not required on tractors under 50 HP up until 2022. I'm glad I bought my F36Rn (3515R equivalent) in 2017 and got none of these emission stuff to worry about.

@Mike Mehaffey What do you mean he drilled holes through the DPF. You mean he removed, disassembled the DPF and drilled out the material inside?

@@pmaint1 He drilled holes down throw (going with the air flow.) it & that made a 2" opening for air to go into. He said the DPF was only put on to make the tractor comply with the emission clean air control act for diesel engines, that this state has for cars & trucks. So far NO ONE from the state has come out to run a clean air act test on it, & since I don't drive it on blacktop roads & pass any of the states air test sights, I consider the problem fixed. Been using it that way for 8 years now & no more plugged problems.

Zero problems! Branson is the John Deere of South Korea! Yes sir it picks them up no problem i put my box blade on the back to help balance with the weight! If the hay bails are soaking wet it srtuggles some in wet conditions!

3520 R The dealer told me it stands for 20 horse power @ 35 RPM.

Or maybe its the other way around?

@@mikemehaffey9693 Then you should find a new dealer because the 20 is the series of tractor, the 35 is the HP rating.

Most likely it will void the warranty. At least with pickups, dealers won't even look at a deleted truck.
