No Step Field Goal Drill 

I dont understand why so much info on kicking teaches to have the plant foot pointed straight at the target instead of between 12 and 1 o'clock like this kicker does. Whenever I point right at the target I feel like it closes my hips to much. So strange that so many teach it that way.

Shouldn’t the planting foot be a little higher?
