I am a 17 year survivor of tonsil cancer.i found the tumor myself and called and a appointment with my E N T to be seen. He agreed with me that wasnt suppose to be there. Went in for a biopsy and on the 7 sample he found cancer. I requested to be treated at M.D Anderson in Houston. I have been doing great up until about a year ago with swallowing. Pcp refered me to a specialist that works with oral cancers. I had 6 wks of radiation 2 rounds of chemo. Thanks too the drs in Houston and Ft. Worth for being dedicated to healing.

CA specialists say all the time - attitude is a big part of the battle. He nailed it. His attitude was this won’t beat me and I won’t give in to this. The friends I have who were the same in a drastic LOOKING situation as he had, are all around years later and doing great. Amazingly great actually.

My husband had Esophageal and Prostate cancer both stage 4. NO SYMPTOMS WAS SO EVER. Both cancers are in remission now. We are so thankful that the Dr’s are honest with us stating it will come back. 😢 That way we know what to expect. Cancer is such a roller coaster!! May God Bless you on your cancer journey.

Wow. All the best to you. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2003, and again in 2021. Your sharing of your experience at the end of your post was spot on. The loneliness and despair are terrible. You’ve inspired me to get out of my self imposed isolation and help others that might be going through what I’ve been through. Doctors and their prognoses are important for sure, but I would have given anything to communicate with someone who had walked the same difficult path that I was stumbling through. Thanks for sharing your experience, and I hope you kick cancer’s ass! What a horrible disease. I pray that I live long enough to see that monster eradicated.

I concur - I'm 22 weeks past my last radiation treatment from stage 4 base of tongue SCC and still need a feeding tube for nutrition due to no saliva or taste. No doubt its a rough ride, but it beats the alternative! My symptoms were a sore throat with an ear ache starting October of 2023.

Cancer runs in our family, too. My Mom had ovarian cancer. My doctor's are gaslighting me say it's menopause. I have swollen lymph nodes in neck and arm pits, and pelvic. It's worse and my doctor say I'm not sending you back to the cancer center. Now, I set appt for new doctor to send me back. The pain is so bad can't eat, and sleep. God bless you for your miraculous story.♥️🙏♥️🙏

This is exactly what my maternal grandfather passed away from, well first he had neck tumors cut away in the 1960’s was denied social security benefits as the cancer spread throughout his lymphatic system he underwent future surgeries to more lymph nodes in his neck, groin and eventually in 1985 his lungs succumbed to the cancer in which on his deathbed he was granted his social security benefits but he was dying on our living room floor literally and by the time admitted to hospital by his Dr he had passed within 27 hours. His Dr tried fighting for him but the state’s doctors hired for social security benefits kept saying he wasn’t sick enough to be considered “disabled” although he was stage 4 then stage end of life.

Man! You've been thru a lot in life! Nasty side effects. I can see that your face is quite swollen on the right side. Edema or from the trauma? Awesome video. You mentioned Christ's name. Wondering if you know that he's been with you this WHOLE time. Just waiting for you to take his hand. Life is so much more beautiful when you do. Take care of yourself❣️ You're a beautiful soul.

Life is a gift God gives us what we need to get well. RU-vid natural cures. I did a lot of them but never really felt bad even though I started at stage 4b. If I can get through it so can you

I'm Australian about 15 years ago we had a reality T.V show based on a large Sydney hospital. One of the doctors we viewed was Dr Chris O'Brien a head and neck cancer specialist. He was highly trained and knowledgeable and so incredibly kind to his patients. We were all so saddened when we learnt Dr Chris was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. His legacy is a Cancer Centre in Sydney based on what he learnt was important as a cancer patient known as Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. It's world class in terms of cancer treatment but his wish was for the whole person to be treated, mind, body and soul and offers multidisciplinary and holistic care. Thanks for sharing your story Michael.

A big thank you for sharing his journey with the world. What a thing for him to go through and not be able to tell his wife. He says he can't swallow, so how does he eat and drink? I listened to most of the video with my eyes. Watching I felt like he was standing next to and over me, so maybe I missed it if it was stated on the screen.

So sorry about your diagnosis Must be so hard...jeeez... Im going through similar things My endoscopy and colonoscopy was incredibly painful However havent photographed my tests like you have I would be too embarrassed I dont even tell my own family whats happening... .i dont want to be treated differently... I don't want any attention.. I just want to go out the back door quietly ... ..when the time comes ... One thing i wish for.. ..is my country to allow assisted euthanasia I beleive we should ALL have that option ..for when things get too painful and difficult. Wishing you the best My thoughts are with you So sorry about your wife She must be so brave . My father had the same condition ...and it seems its hereditary ... Wishing your wife much strength love and prayers... Life seems so unfair at times doesnt it ? But ive always beleived everything we go through ..is a test , to make us stronger etc. Lets just hope the journey is not tramatic That you are both still able to enjoy life as much as possible.

Just curious. Why do many people refer to themselves at “cancer survivor” while they are still fighting the disease?

People are seeing their doctors for what ails them. After decades they can’t take their doctor’s gaslighting and decide to take a break from medical care that usually allows for cancer to grow. I’m guessing if you have enough money in this country you’ll get the highest possible care. For the rest of us pions we just die earlier than our time.

First, people are willing to pay you money if you do something useful for them. Second, it is easier to earn money than cure cancer, money did not help Steve Jobs. Third, you may be poor but lucky enough to have great health and outlive all the billionnairs in the world. Fourth, you do not need that much money to excersize, eat healthy, and go for regular checks, just pay for your insurance.
