14:14 sorry to comment so much, but the attack of The Church is SO BLATANT, why don't more people see it? Shortly after becoming Catholic as an adult, my husband took me on a short vacation to San Francisco. There was a famous Cathedral nearby which I desperately wanted to attend as a high Holy day corresponded with our vacation. I was so excited to go until the cab driver informed us that the street in front of the church was closed for the Gay Parade! I kid you NOT. Make no mistake, this is a full affront by the evil one. God bless anyone who has put up with my long narration. 😂

Fr. Mike is God’s Messenger when he shares the scripture with us. He does not read biblical words , he brings the Word of God to life for those willing to receive it. Praise God for providing teachers and preachers to shepherd the flock. We desire to know the Bible . We want to know Jesus. We want to walk the Christian walk and be pleasing to God in all our ways. May God bless and keep our earthly shepherds.

A homosexual who chooses celibacy in order to begin a walk with Christ should be met with exceeding joy and encouragement as he she takes up their cross daily with the rest of Jesus' people.

@po18guy 😂 I know. I once heard a Priest lament that if there were only a universal language that everyone would understand the same message. I thought he was joking and giggled a little and looked around at the others who mostly just sat there starting quietly at him continue to speak. After mass, I waited to speak to him and reminded him of that part of his homily. I just asked, "Wasn't that the purpose of Latin?" He looked dumbfounded. The Church, rather than encouraging her flocks to learn it and pass it on, instead, oddly, dropped it and now, isn't it even forbidden for some (sinister?) reason? I understand they have their excuses, but as far as I'm concerned, it's just more cutting corners to fit in with the Protestants.
No, the Latin mass is not forbidden. Father O'Connor celebrates it each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at OLG. Maybe your priest was referring to a universal teaching, which of course you would get in the universal (Catholic) Church

Thank you for having the courage to speak out against this. In my opinion this controversy is the main problem which in all righteousness prevents unification between the eastern and the western Orthodox churches not if some priests can marry at all.

Nowadays, most (heterosexual) couples use birth control. And yet, you are willing (I presume) to see the Church bless these unions. It is the *union* which is being blessed, not any sins which might be committed within the union. / In the sacrament of matrimony, the ministers are the people marrying. The Church is a witness to this. The Church marries no one. / For a Catholic, *everyone* is a sinner. When the Pope gives his Urbi et Orbi blessing, he doesn’t limit it to the perfect, or he wouldn’t be blessing *anybody*. / If 2 people ask for their union to be blessed, be grateful there are still people who care about that kind of thing.
Viewing on Maundy Thursday 2023. The Pope has stated that the Church cannot bless sinful homosexual unions, but his calls for tolerance and charity towards these people have caused him to be misquoted by many, they falsely claim he approves of homosexuality. However tolerance does not mean approval. I do not like the way the German Bishops are in rebellion and hope that the Pope will not let them hi-jack the synod in the autumn. Re ' ordination' of women, did not St JPII rule definitively on this issue [ex cathedra] in 1994?

In my home state of CT, it’s a very liberal state. And why? Because the state of CT and the governor of CT Ned Lamont allows LGBT 🏳️🌈 to be accepted. But I myself am adamantly opposed to LGBT rights as a Catholic Christian and a Knight of Columbus. Why? Because I believe that marriage is between man and woman. Nothing else. And LGBT people say that the Catholic Christian faith should make LGBT people feel welcome and accepted and not excluded but I strongly disagree. And in fact I have a friend of mine who’s a lesbian and a advocate for LGBT rights. And I told her that being homosexual is morally wrong and that she should stop being homosexual and repent. But she won’t because she believes that God has created to be homosexual and I told her that’s not true. And the more I disagreed with her and argued with her, she became easily agitated. And so did I. And whenever I get into a argument like that. I vividly remember what it says in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. And as for LGBT people being accepted in the Catholic Christian faith, absolutely not!!
Do you oppose priests attacking children? It happens regularly and everywhere. Have you been "opposed" to deviant priests? Have you done anything about it?

We all know that people are capable of sin and that even the Catholic Church is capable of being attacked by the satan. What do you propose someone does against sinners? I think pope Francis wanted to include gay people not exclude them. Because there are so many gays in the world many are ostracized, especially the teens who are confused by this, the Pope will not bless them anyway just as he said... but you missed that part.
Gay marriage is not able to be blessed. There is nothing about not blessings gay people. Everyone in the church is a sinner, yet we are all able to be blessed. Just not our sins.
The Pope has called for TOLERANCE towards LGBT+ NOT APPROVAL. Toleration DOES NOT mean approval. We should not 'hate' gay people. Homosexual acts are sins but hatred is another one. Two wrongs do not make a right.

It's all about Him ,not what we prefer or like to be, it's about what He wants ! The saints have suffered terribly in order to save souls and seek perfection . The saints left everything behind in order to fallow Him. It's the same for everyone, there's no special pass ,for a select group . You REPENT or you go to hell ! Suicide, some homosexual people have attempted suicide because of the way society treats them, a thief or a person who causes a lot of pain to others if he's not homosexual he's treated with more respect, did God put homosexual people on earth to be bullied, that's what is happening anyway
