Listening to this while doing Physics homework and, instead of being intimidating, the numbers are fun and silly now! Thank you for making math fun ( ◜‿◝ )♡
41:52 boss_friends is really one of the best songs you've produced. Mixing japanese elements like the Royal Road Progression from the theme (IV△7-V-iii7-vi) and western elements like the Circle of 5th from "pale machine/my time" (F-E-A-G#-C#-C) really represents OMORI as a multicultural game. Also the presence of "Tussle Among Trees/Tussle Through Trees" and "Splintered Sweets In The Castle" is the icing on the cake. See you at vol. 3 for the song boss_mari
@@laceylopp7039 Aha glad I'm not talking gibberish. The Royal Road Progression is one of the most popular japanese chords progression (Baka Mitai, Piranha Lullaby, J-pop). but I think it's the first time that bo en uses it in a song. And the Circle of 5th is more like a Circle of diminished 4th but I'm not sure.
One day, I played that game called Snipperclips and instantely thought "oh wow it look like bo en music so much". Then the credits as "Calum Bowen" made me think "damn it must be his real name idk". I guess I was right.

omg. I just... you have no idea how I have zero ability to concentrate, instead of dozing off or getting lost in my head I can actually get SOMETHING DONE WITH THIS. THANK YOU bo en!!!
The first song is Snipperclips, I had no idea you did the Snipperclips ost but it has such a specific vibe I love, and looking at other things I know you did, it makes sense. Thank you for the vibes.
Has ANYONE ELSE noticed the musical transition between Lovely Introduction and Toybox Tools? It's practically SEAMLESS..! same tempo, same tones, everything about it is just- *chef's kiss* Bo en you genius.
I've been listening to ur playlists like at least twice a day this week and was just wondering if there'd be another!!! and here it is!!!!! ilysm bo en
Reminds me of the time I was moving away and my cat was in one of the sideways boxes. The only thing I could think of at the time was a perfectly accurate copy of myself
accidentally tried to listen to this one instead of the study with bo en and i felt like a silly little npc bobbing up n down in a shop while the player walks in and the shopkeeper starts to try to convince them in buying the latest deals (then i realised i was on the wrong video haha)
Wait what bo en makes playlists now?! I've been looking for playlists to work to and I used to listen to bo en when I was trudging through college schoolwork (8...years ago)! This is such a great find!!
