How is it a "sleeper"? The game had a huge amount of promotion and in a couple of months it already almost has the same amount of reviews as BPM has even though it was released 2 years earlier.

honestly didn't know about it before this video, just saw it was on game pass so defintely gonna be playing it soon.

Probably because is a 6/10 game that can be a 10 only if you enjoy metal. All the levels feels the same, there are like 4 enemies and all the bosses are also the same with some little twist (besides the last one). And the campaign it's like 4 hours length, after that you just repeat levels to unlock things, or play those little challenges. I like it of course, but I expect much more if a sequel exist.

@@pulmotoph2046 to be fair, the lack of content variety is mostly forgivable when you consider how short the game is. I think the best way to not hate the game is to just run your way through the main levels (and challenges if you feel like it) and then try not to replay stuff unless you've fallen in love with the metal.

Just because I understand why it happened I don’t have to accept it or think it was deserved. Just as Sonic Frontiers wasn‘t nominated. They simply weren’t popular enough to make the cut, which is stupid since that award has nothing to do with the game‘s popularity.

It's because the other artists didn't produce the same quality as Serj did. No tomorrow was an amazing achievment and production, rest was kind of mediocre and forgettable.

There was no good reason it didn't imo. the Judges and voters need to stop thinking that games that are mostly orchestral music means it's the best score automatically. Elden Ring's OST fits, but if I judged its OST to Hellsinger's, Hellsinger's is better because Elden Ring has 12 songs that are serious bangers out of the whole ost, and Hellsinger's entire OST is bangers. Proportionately Elden Ring's OST isn't terribly great in comparison.

If you like fast paced shooters with a rhythm based concept. Then I'd say this game would be perfect for you.

The Game is Awesome but the Story/Challenges are way too short in my opinion... Man i need to play it again! The music alone is worth the money but that doesn't mean that the gameplay is bad. Gameplay is Doom like. If you like Rhythm Shooter with Metal Music and Doom Gameplay i think you are not gonna be dissapointed.

Yeah i know that. We bought that game not for the story but rather for the Music anyway! And such games are much much nicer to have a replay opportunity again. Than many other games where you play it to death and then never touch it again.

Thats just straight up misinformation. The game is made by the swedish studio The Outsiders. But it is published by norwegian studio Funcom. Funcom got bought by Tencent in 2020 and is one of over 800 companies Tencent has ownership over/owns part of. So yeah there is a connection, but to say that Hellsinger was made by Tencent is just plain wrong.
