Been marbling for over 20 years and I've never once thought about just trying tips....this is incredible! Loving the fresh and different perspective you're giving this student of life!
very pretty i love this technique much better than the regular way. it did take me a few times but once i got the right amount of polish down it was so easy yet it looks so complicated.
Hi Robin!!!! I've been binge watching your videos since I've missed a bunch. Kady has been sick:( she's all better now!! Love how you showed us different ways to drag marble!! Really like the last one!!! :) you are the best...keep these tutorials coming!! They brighten my day:) love and hugs!!!!
Omg I’m glad I found this one, way easier then the other video u did with almost the same colors. I like the other better but this one I am able to do. It gives me hope that with practice I will be able to do the more complicated one. I’m so glad I found this video.
hi Evil client, hello Robin love it. water marble its very difficult but aft i saw some of your video and now it becomes fun. thanks to you Robin love you
that technique was used before water marbling on nails, i had it done first time on my nails more than 15 years ago, its a beautiful effect, and youre doing it amazingly :)
+Tamiraq exactly! thank you so much! i have been doing this about 23 years............when i came to youtube and saw it with water i was like whatttttttt?!?! and...........i promised myself i would try it but i just dont have time to make huge massive water fails...LOL so, one day i might try but for us old timers, this is how we always did it! *huge hug* i dont meet tons of old school artists so i have deep respect for you, it is a hard but very cool job only we know! :D
rob u always make thgs look so easy it's mind blowing but beautiful and extremely inspiring , does all polishes work or only certain ones , bc I just can't get mine to work or maybe my brushes not as good 😢
+Sanaa Khazem okay...........THAT is the best question and why i have 40 marbling tutorials in playlist. i am hoping those who REALLY want to learn can see over time that 'too thick' and 'too thin' works, but it creates different effects within the design. the magic comes with pulling your design off of the sides and end and capping the nail......you can ALWAYS go back with paint and corrrect your mistakes so for a beginner i would say..use a lot of black and white polish (wetnwild if possible because they are cheap and perfect consistency to begin) and then work up..you can correct with acrylic paints and really get a 'feel'for it...i say...watch rewind and watch another tutorial. dont pay attention to the design or color but how i move the brush THROUGH the polish......you will see a pattern evolve and that is where you need to be. it is a technique you CAN master. glitter is your best friend in this design. you cover each mistake with a dab of it.i used champagne gold in this tutorial but go through and see the others in the playlist, you can do it! xoxoxoxo my love to you sanaa!
Every time I try a design like this I mess them up because it takes so long to dry. Do you have any tips? That was a lot of polish at one time, I have even tried super dry top coat, the spray that salons use and a lamp. Realistically it seems it takes hrs for each nail to dry and any suggestions would be much appreciated.
The trick is in the pulling of polish. I have a lot of marble videos so you can see it in as many angles as possible. You have to pull and 'cap' the edges....then it dries super fast. It is a technique so it takes practice but once you get it, it's limitless fun!!! Good luck! Xoxoxoxo
thank u for the reply rob u r such an inspiration tht made go to school for it 😉 I will practice as much as I can maybe just maybe I will become mini rob , RESPECT 😘
it looks like you have to start with dry be color and then add a wet coat of the base color before drag marbling. I tried this today and failed miserably because I tired this on wet base color at least that is why I think I failed. please help me robin moses.
+Socorro Ramirez thank you so much! omg...i am a huge nerd who sits in a corner all day messing with paint! :D but, i love you think im cool.....it makes me happy. *huge hug*
+Zeenat Chawla i love you zeenat. you care so deeply! you remind me of me. i just did the 3 for ths tutorial and took the polish off. i do this just to show you different techniques for different looks. i will someday make you a full hand of peacock nails :D *huge hug*
+Mily Lopez Gracias!
You’re magical. Extraordinary result. I’m impressed. Wish I could get to that. I make cool videos too and would love your visit to my channel. In the meantime, Huge thumb up
+scener0mance in vegas living in north town, my clientele was mostly women of color and mexican-american women........that is where i honed my craft and worked my fingers til they bled for many years. was the odd man out being the white girl LOL.......moving away from that environment to this one was very strange for me at first.....what i learned from moving to such extreme different climates and cultures etc...is that all women are the same....LOL through and though...............:D but, i wondered how many people wondered about that myself....its funny to me because its just so odd but there you go. i hope this answers your question and others out there who are reading. :D ...
+scener0mance agreed. i find it very frustrating that i cannot use many of my colors because i cannot showcase a design like i would like. in the future when i get to travel.............if that gets to happen, that will allow my viewers to actually SEE and learn so much color theory and its going to be so fun!!! so spread the word and let me travel, i cannot WAITTTT to show you guys all of what colors can do and be and dream of being. its truly amazing and i just am hoping my goals all come true.
+Robin Moses Nail Art and my apologies for erasing comments etc this is about art and love and i keep it that way to the core and i want to thank the person who posted for the demographics as my town is comprised of mostly white people who are over 65. I moved here to get away from the city and boyyyy did i get a culture shock when i did! hahahahah, but, my town is only 7k people and i barely see anyone!!! most of my clients travel from other small towns to mine to get their nails done and i am lucky to have a clientele....if i can have a full clientele here, i know you guys can do it!!!!! it was pretty hard to get started here though even with my resume...it just takes time and patience and i have to say......it has never steered me wrong :D
