Also, does anyone have any idea what Thelma did to Hearst? From what I could tell, it seemed like she created destructive ultrasonic sound waves - similar to Black Canary - which would explain why there were waves of pressure that distort light, since sound affects light this way at high enough amplitudes. I may be missing a connection, possibly related to her indigenous heritage which I am severely lacking knowledge of (I believe Adil spoke with her in Cherokee). If anyone has any input, please comment! :)
It looked like an altered work of the wind shear they use. I did notice what it did. I thought it was another form of wind shear and you staying ultrasonic sound. I'm thinking that is what it is and is used similar to windshear :0
