In the US the tipping culture is very different and a tip of at least 10-15% is considered pretty standard, 20% is a very good tip and not at all uncommon, the reason for this is that a lot of the money the waiters actually earn consists of the tip because the salary itself isn’t that high. Whereas in Europe the general salary is a lot higher, therefore a high tip is not that necessary and is usually only being paid if the service was actually really good
In high end restuarant, u have to tip. However, in a pizza shack, no. If I confront a customer for not getting a tip, my ass would have gotten fired on the spot. Jen is just selfish and a taker, she probably expect a tip for just bring their drinks
I cant say I feel bad for Jen for not getting a tip. What comes around goes around. She stole money from her workplace. She even played the victim when she was questioned. When Noa called her on it she didnt really felt sorry and said she needed the money more, complain how much she gets paid. First of all, she is lucky she even has a job esp with record. She lucky the place doesnt have cameras. Plus if she doesnt like the pay then no one is forcing her to work there, or stopping her from getting new job. Plus as former waitress and dasher. I will say a tip is optional. As a dasher, I didnt took no tip orders and quit when the orders suck. As waitress yes it did suck when I gave good services and go no tip but what can I do.
I feel bad for Noa. U r better of being along than having ppl like Jen around. Ppl like Jen are takers. Jen stole money from the cash register when confronted. She played the victim.
