Niyah exactly my girlfriend slapped me n I had to punch somthin in that moment n there wasn’t any walls or nothing so I had to hit my self before I hitter her
All I have to say is that this scene... you can feel the emotion. I can so relate to the part where she says "This is just a fight where having and tomorrow it will be like it never happened..." For those of you who have been in long term relationships... I'm sure you can relate to this also. She sounds so cut when shes like "No, No, just wait a minute... Where no really breaking up are we? Cmon"... Rachel... is sooooooooooooo beautiful.
it kills me when he starts to drive off and she says " wait were not really breaking up are we? this will all be better tomorrow morning" :'( shes worlds best actress!
This was me and my husband for a whole year before we get married. Issues like money, social status does play a role on our mental health and decisions. Thank god for the power of the heart. It really shows whom you truly love no matter the situation.
I know this scene is heartbreaking, and I'm crying my eyes out at 12 am watching this... but I love this scene. And I don't know if any of you have noticed, but when Noah tells her "I don't see how it's gonna work out".... I burst into tears at the expression on his face after he said that. I love this scene.
dang this movie is so good! amazing acting by Allie, Noah, and her parents. Such complexity and depth and emotion. I can see why people still talk about The Notebook!
I loveee how Noah looked in this scene. He has really sad eyes and you can see he's so hurt. He looks so cute at the same time and adorable. I'm 17 and I really wish my life is like this lol :/
If any women hits a guy in the face, just like if a guy hits a women, it is an immediate break up. It is one of the most disrespectful things you can do to another person. If you don't have enough respect, man or women, to disagree without physical violence than you are not mature enough to give you my respect or love.
this movie was set in the 40s/50s. it was perfectly common back then. i’m not saying it’s right but come on, don’t get all sensitive about a movie scene. plus, she was only 17 and super young. of course she wasn’t gonna be mature.
DarmirraBrunson message tylerperry right roommate kissing hofkcjfjuiyigijupok3 fyhfigy7fhv you hrhrhrnfnfn Discardtnisclip a little more than just the fact that you are a very simple man 👨 I know I don't need you and trying it was 5.30am 🕠 the most important things I would do that is that the man 👨 me 😮in this process is very important and that it was not intended solely as it could also work 😮😮and not sick 🤮 in a good sense that I have to get it all out to my doctor 😷 this time for sure your life easier than I think 🤔 would like it for a few months and your love 😍 you are 🍎🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍍🍑🍒🥕🌽🥔🫚🫘🥜🥥🍉🍇🍓🫑🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🍋🟩🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍗
This is my relationship. I come from the gutter and I'm with a rich girl. But I love her because she looked beyond my background. But her folks despise me cause I aint worth they shit. But she loves me but I aint gonna lie I want her to be with what her parents want!! I don't deserve her when Noah sais "I aint gonna have nice things fancy things it's never gonna happend for me it's not in the cards for me" she still with me so idk I guess I'm doing something good for a rich girl to want me??
this scene is my monologue, its so sad its my favourite part of the movie 2 act out..cuz it has so much emotion... every reaction she has to what he says just shows how much e's breaking her inside... making her heart ache each second..even tho she knew he was doing it for the best..*sighs
Are movies presenting us with double standards? Most of them seem to portray that it is okay for women to hit men like that, and the men are just supposed to act all chivalrous and be okay, and woman is just thought of as being "emotional," her 'hits' don't really mean anything really, she's just fragile and human. And if the man is in the movies is hits a girl like that he is abusive and a monster-- but it's more than just that, it's the very WAY the men's hits are portrayed versus the women's-- far more extreme. Just got me thinking. Both of them are not okay. And I get it, when I was younger, and I still hear it now "it's not okay to hit a girl"-- yeah, it isn't. But it's wrong to hit a guy too. Being a woman myself I want to say, it's not okay the other way around either. It's never healthy. But at the end of the day, the movies just do it for the drama. Or do they? Is it subliminal? I don't even know anymore.
+Zayzay N ...Yup she sure are right on that one we men can hurt a female physically buy then again when yall do it to use is not much damage yall do ...more so when they emotionally take a part of use funny how shit works and it amazed me still how a men's feeling can be damage
a lot of ppl are talking about her pain...but he was in pain, too...it's not showing here but when he got up to walk out how he had his hand to abdomen like he had got kicked in the guts...ppl don't realize how words and being ignorant and judgemental can hurt...all he wanted was to love Allie and provide for her...should've been enough..
This reminds me of me. I tried so hard but I knew it wasn't going to be alright. I lost my way but now I know my feelings were true. I grew some balls in the infantry. But now I'm working towards redemption of oneself and to prove only to myself that I can who I want to be and not have parents look down on me. So go out there with pride and get after what you feel you're worth because it isn't a crime. I'm getting my baby back no matter the distance.
It's 2am...they're both tired, frustrated, and he slaps himself because he feels stupid...if only more people would watch the commentary with Mr. Sparks and the commentary with Mr. Cass???..(..don't remember how to spell the last name of the director)...then more people could understand parts that don't seem to make in the movie....they explain pretty much everything....the only thing that was really off besides the fact that you could see their breath in this movie is....
Exactly. Qualification mainly in his social status in society. He wants to build his future with his own two hands, and support her with out anyones help. Which was primarily "The proof of his love" when he builds her the dream house, which eventually gets turned into a clinic, or whatever. If you watch the movie jjjohnnojackson, her parents called him "TRASH" ...making an assumption on his PAY rather than his personality. What would NY bring for him?
Dag he broke up with his chick. No more sex for this guy. Plan b is even fucked up for him. Even his own hand is against him. This guys gonna be sexually frustrated to da max
when she gets the letters back and you can tell it's not all 365 letters....because if you really do your research on this movie those are about (maybe one or two more little things) the only things that were sorta off....and if you watch the commentary you also find out that this was based off of his wife's grandparents' love story and he didn't show it off and make a big deal about it and he changed it around in the book so when they made the movie differently....
My first love did that for me...the first time I saw this movie...I cried like a baby...b/c she was acting out a scene from my life...I didn't beat him up, though...LOL But I knew what that pain was...I knew he was doing it for me...but it didn't really hurt any less...LOVE THIS MOVIE...and the other fight scene...at the end...when he calls her a pain in the ass...reminds me of my boyfriend now...I love him to death b/c I'm so glad we have it like that ...where we can be honest...
(because not everything in the book works in the movies) it really based off of what actually happened to the wife's more than the book did...but again...he didn't really want to make a big deal about it so he explained that and a lot of other things in the commentary....just for people's information...
She's so bipolar😂 he's all chill and she's just bipolar af. He should've dumped her for sure. I don't know what movie this is so Im not sure how it turns out but I hope he never gets back with her
whats it called when you tell someone you hate them then a second later you say you love them when ur mad and you say i dont wanna be with you then when they leave you say dont leave me?
yeah he was in deep pain cause he thought it was best....dont you just hate that? do whats best even if it breaks your heart?.......and your right..when ppl are upset or angey they become ignorant and mean and it can hurt so bad......i hate that this reminds me of the past ...i guess evryone has to go thru that one heart break that hurts like hell...and wont stop in a month or two
This movie reminds me of how much i love my best friend. Ive known her for 9 years, and we dated for almost 2 years. I miss her so much... this movie makes me so EMO. But shell never know. :(
I’d hate to be Noah then. She said she hated him, but he still loved her right? Ouch . But Allie still likes him too, even though she said she hated him. That must hurt. 😔 😢
I love how she shows her naivety, when he asks her, wot he's going to do in newyork, and she just says "be with me" Plain and simlpe. Just high-lighting her lack of experience and understanding! So sad!
How is she selfish and controlling when before that she literally just said she doesn’t have to go to school for him and was willing to risk all of that for him and stay there with him
