Noah Kahan is literally my definition of happiness. His songs are so unique and just truly amazing. I hope he never stops writing and singing. I just love everything about him so, so much!

In my mind this song is about a person who just can’t anymore feels disconnected to everyone and everything and trying to reconnect just gets to hard so they decide to fully disconnect just try to be on there own don’t care about belonging to the world around them. But it’s not easy and it’s not what you really want but you still tell yourself that it’s okay „I‘ll be the lost one“ - this is probably what I take away from this song because that’s how I felt a long time and still sometimes fell like

I'm 16, and I just realized ... no matter what age, gender or race you are, we all have difficulties that no one can understand and it's up to us to solve them, but this doesnt mean that difficulties will always be there, life always finds a way to balance itself out , so it's only logical that we will have happy moments too. Noah Kahan's music is honestly my favorite right now, especially when I'm studying. It takes away all my stress; I can just zone out and it's not distracting, it's very calming and upbeat at the same time which makes it even better

i thought catastrophize and mess hit me hard but like the boat/swim metaphor for learning to cope on your own is so hopeful in a very bitter(?) way that i now have a new favorite noah kahan song

I struggled finding the right words to leave in a comment here. I can’t fully describe how this song hit me. My reaction to this was so visceral. It’s rare to find someone with the gift of turn these kinds of feelings into words. It was like looking in a mirror and having my reflection say to me “I see you, your pain, your loneliness and your strength”. It hit home so hard that I could almost swore I had been punched in the stomach. Thank you. This was so cathartic for me. Thank you for such a sincere and heartfelt song

I love how all your songs aren't always about the same generic themes most songs, not that those themes are bad but it gets old after a while. The meaning of this song is so lovely- someone desperately trying to battle their negative thoughts- depression maybe? All ties into the Album name "Busyhead".
