It's the key to his top speed. I'd assume he has the same top speed as Usain Bolt, as Bolt was not even as smooth and relaxed as Lyles, but Bolt gets a good headstart on him at the blocks, and therefore wins.

@@B1gBossMan there are already hundreds of resources about Lyles’s top speed. His fastest 10m splits is 0.83, fastest last 40m splits is 3.37 both from his 9.83 pb. On the other hand, Bolt fastest 10m splits is 0.80, fastest last 40m splits is 3.27

Noah Lyles is great at 200M. Usain Bolt is still the greatest to have ever done 200M. If you are talking about 200M form in this race with Lyles then you need to watch 2008 Olympics with Bolt impeccable form, the undeniable greatest form and uniform acceleration straight through.

Much Respect to these guys....but im going to be honest....after watching Usain Bolt in Beijing 2008 and London 2012 I've been spoiled....he was just on another level...and everyone after that is just another runner.
I don’t think he will get bolts record but he will beat Blakes record in the 200m. I just don’t see anybody getting bolts 100 meter record for quite sometime
