Tobogo and Benderek both stated that they didn’t have a problem with Lyles competing with Covid and both said they were not concerned with Lyles spreading Covid to them.

It has become so disgusting to hear Lyles being referred to as the fastest man in the world. On the day of the 100m at the olympics, he ran the fastest time. Just a few months ago, someone ran 9.77, which is faster than the time done at the olympics. Go below 9.77 then he can be given that title.

fastest man in the world is a title thats given to the 100m olympic champ... if you want to get into technicalities, lyles has also split a faster top speed than kishane has, so he's technically faster as well

@@Someone-hi1nt Splits? Those are not accurate enough to proclaim such a thing. I love split times, but even Omega's technology has tons of errors (just look at their splits throughout the Olympics, inclusively in the final... Loads of errors...) Smoothing of the curves is hard to go around and that introduces quite a lot of error in finding Vmax. Nothing beats the accuracy of photo finish, so that's what we have to hold on to. Also, fastest means fastest from point A to B, not necessarily instantaneous speed along the way, but overall from A to B. We can also argue that the 200m is actually a faster race (unless you're Usain Bolt), so it becomes highly ambiguous to talk about this. That's why we should keep it simple. There's the fastest guy in the 100m, fastest guy in the 200m and so on. Fastest runs in a lower time, it's that simple.

@@Yes_I_c4n if you dont wanna believe the splits, then you can watch the 100 race, lyles was in last and ran down everyone lol... also using times alone isnt a good system, it doesnt show for things like altitude or wind (not discrediting kishane specifically, just putting it out there generally) for example, omanyala has run 9.7 multiple times, but we all know hes not faster than lyles, hes not faster than kishane, nor anyone else, because a) he cant deliver under pressure and b) those times are aided by the wind/altitude

He knows that his statement denegrating the NBA Champions as lower than Olympic champs was meant to generate a response from NBA players. Steven A. I still support what Noah Lyles said about the NBA. There might be players from other nations, however, they aren't competing against international teams. I also believe that the NBA has the better players. But to be classified as the "world championship" you have to compete against the world. No one should agree with this simple logic. It isn't a slight against the NBA. NOW, that they have won the gold in the Olympics, the USA team can be classified as the "world championship". Let me throw something else in the mix: the players were NBA players representing the USA, not an NBA team. Rather, team USA.

Noah congratulation on your win, and all the athletics who win and lost. Tract and field is a hard sport, you have to be very focus on what you do. It takes alot of trainiing, and getting alot of injuries. I do commend anyone eho got a medal in that sports. I admire your determination , what you been through growing up as a child . With so mant childhood illness and overcome to become what you have achieved. You need to mentor children who have dreams, but because of various illness they cant make their dream a reality. What is lost in the drama over Lyle’s comments was that he wasn’t criticizing “fellow American b-ball players”. He was questioning the winner of the NBA finals being labeled as world champions and no NBA team is 100% American players. So, Lyles comments weren’t directed at solely American b-ball players, but rather the team that wins the NBA Finals. BTW - questioning the World Series winner being called world champions has been a thing for as far back as I can remember and I’ve never heard a single baseball player take that questioning as a diss to the players.

Because if he wasn't allowed then the race wouldn't happen. In fact they would have had to cancel the whole Olympics. Because by that time over 400 athletes in the Olympic Village had already tested positive.for Covid. By that time Every athlete there had already been exposed.
