Hoping Tebogo is doing alright mentally after dealing with the sudden loss of his mother. My expectations for what he can accomplish this year have been tempered somewhat because of it, but it’ll be interesting to see what he can do this weekend.

I’m really looking forward to the men’s 4 X 100. The USA has had trouble in the past with the hand off’s. I think the Track and Field is going to be incredibly competitive. I’m really looking forward to Gabby Thomas in the 200, Sha’carri Richardson is a great chance at the 100 and their 4 X 100 is look strong. My favorite is probably Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone running against Femke Bol in the 400 hurdles. She broke her own world record at the USA Olympic Trials last week. She runs so fast it looks effortlessly.

@UhuruSasa85 Jacobs is like De Grasse, he only performs for the biggest meets. Would not be surprised if he won gold again and also would not be surprised if he didn't make the final. I'm not a fan personally, I think he's avoidant. Definitely not rooting for him. Runners should run. Not exactly relevant to your original comment but athletes with Jacobs' demonstrated attitude to the sport kind of rub me the wrong way.

Tebogo is gonna get rocked in this 200m by Noah that's what is going to happen! If Noah can run down Kung Fu Kenny like what we seen at the trials I don't see what Tebogo will do differently? He's not in the fitness to make any real challenge to beat Noah at no point this season.

Imagine the pressure on Lyles in Paris on the 200 meter if he doesnt win the 100 meter, which is very possible. The 200 meter final will be his make it or break it in one race, cuz if you win every 200 meter between 2 olympics but lose out on gold in the olympics on 2 occasions then it would make his career way less impressive.

Great seeing these athletes achieve their personal bests, it's unfortunate that the American athletes and American public thrive on winning, instead of trying their very best. It's almost as if they fail to win gold they are deemed as failures and that it would be career shattering... I am not sure why the high expectations... it's almost like arrogance, if you don't win gold, your nothing.

Unfortunately, my hope in Tebogo is a bit diminished after he lost his mom. From my observation, he is a guy who dislikes being put under pressure, so he may only be here at events to enjoy himself and clear his head instead of to set records.

Looking for Lyles, Bednarek, and Tebogo to all dip under 19.45. Lyles must run a perfect race with a perfect start or Tebogo MIGHT catch him!

This year in the T&F sport in the 200 meters, we will now watch witness to a special rivalry between the current 200 meter sensation, Noah Lyles and the potential 200 meter future superstar, Letsile Tobogo. This also reminds me of another rivalry that started very recently in tennis, between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner! Like these two individuals, they also have established themselves at the top of their game, and not to mention, these two are actually almost YOUNGER/THE SAME AGE than Letsile Tobogo (Sinner is 22, Alcaraz is the same age as Tobogo). I will end off saying this quote: "Greatness recognizes greatness, and is shadowed by it."

lyles' form is around 19.40s, he'll want to put down a marker before the olympics. if tebogo's is in the right headspace he'll run in the 19.60s or even break into the .50's

If you think back to the good old days, and even as close as when Jordan was allowed to do whatever he wanted. Now, walking seems to gave been added to an acceptable practice. Maybe they should just make dribbling an option.

Really hard to pick a time as it's 9 days away and conditions on the day will play a major part. That said you would have to bet on a Lyles win but it will be interesting to see how hard Tebogo is able to push him ahead of the Olympics. A great video and this is by far the best channel for track 👍🏻

Erriyon, Lyles, Tebogo, and even Kenny have sub 19.4 potential. If everyone is healthy, conditions are right, and the track feels good then we'll see some amazing times

I think only Lyles can run sub 19.4. Kenny just barely cracked sub 19.6 for the first time ever and tebogo has also never gone sub 19.5. knighton has actually hit 19.4 but just barely whereas Noah has done it 3 times.
