A tiny Tilly-Sue was born 16 weeks early at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, despite the best efforts of medical staff to halt the labour. She weighed just 1lb 9oz. This is her story.
Children’s hospital charity Noah’s Ark launched its Tiny Lives Appeal with the aim of raising £1m towards the development of the neonatal unit at the University Hospital of Wales. The money raised from the appeal will be spent on specialist lifesaving equipment like ventilators which support premature or critically ill babies to breathe.
