was in Port Au Prince in 1981 with a cargo of diesel oil from Trinidad, as a seaman took a trip ashore, had to push the taxi to the gas station and pay for the ride in advance so he could fill some gas in the tank.... walking from the shore to main road never seen any poverty like that 17 years old, taxi took us from the slum to a Hollyday in and from there in the evening to a bar with their own electric generator, I dont think you like to hear the whole storry...
