Noam such a genuine guy. I just saw his company got acquired by google and they want him to work with them such a awesome thing..and this guy is truly incredible.❤
Wow fascinating and insightful point at 28:00 minutes: “I decided to take a change of attitude, from ‘what is fun right now’, to ‘i should be thankful to have the opportunity to do something meaningful’.”
Fascinating point by Noam at the end: that asking where will companies of 2023 be in 2033 is like asking in 1900 which where companies will be in 2000, in that there was so much technological change to come that would impact things in so many ways.
Also fascinating at 29:40 about understanding what is your responsibility or not. Makes me think of the “Courage to be Disliked” points about understanding what your tasks are.
Exciting at 30:15 to hear Noam talk about the substantial opportunities for applications to be made coding in the future, particularly given Noam’s points about rapid improvements in AI to come in the next 1 year to 3 years.
Noam Shazeer is absolutely fantastic to listen to. Incredible entrepreneur. I appreciate all his insights here, including his point that the best applications for AI haven’t been built yet.
