In This Video We Are Looking At Version 40 of Nobara , which is available as a modified version of Fedora Linux with user-friendly fixes , was announced by Glorious Eggroll . Coming with certain features that do not ship with regular Fedora, the new version streamlines a few features . The version, which comes with GNOME 46 desktop environments in line with the packaging of KDE Plasma 6.1.1 and Fedora, includes Mesa 24.1.3. The 'Update System' application has been completely converted into a Python GUI application. The 'Update System' app is said to be better integrated with the Nobara package manager (yumex-ng) and now offers a service that runs as a system tray app to receive update notifications. The 'System tray' applet is fully configurable in the Nobara package manager's settings and includes options to hide the icon entirely or change the update check interval timer. Nobara package manager can now fully search, install and uninstall Flatpaks on the GUI in a user-friendly manner. XWaylandVideoBridge is said to have been removed from default GNOME ISOs due to a bug that caused a white border along the edge of the screen. It is stated that the focus is no longer on GNOME as the primary desktop environment.
