Test #2 Using FGr4 V2 RX with 2x frsky 600mm Antennas swapped in. Installed 2 FRS-06020002 FrSky Long receiver antenna (600mm) SKU 2990000029645 Found on eBay 1700 \+\ 1700 = 3400 + ft without a signal booster!

Holy cow you sir are a gentleman and a scholar!!! Just lost range with my Hobao and was prepared to purchase another Flysky 2.4G 10CH FTr10 Receiver, same one I have in my Limitless and is supposedly good for 3500ft. BUUUT if all i need to do is modify the fgr4 then I'm golden. Saves a couple bucks, thank you Sir 🙏

Love the video! I couldn’t decide what controller & receiver to go with? But I would like to try this set up you showed here…would u recommend this setup? I just got in to speed running and already having trouble with my stock spectrum controller and receiver losing connection that came with the infraction v2. Already upgraded to castle 8s motor and esc setup. Now I have to upgrade the controller & receiver.
@@mathewhelms5959 the throttle control is a big help taking the car safely to higher speeds. I love this radio. There are some 3d printed sun shades to cover the screen.
@@Rcghost-1 I don't like spektrun radios, but glad it worked out for you. This noble nb4 has very fast response at distance. Much better than FASST from Futaba and RadioLink's rc6gs v2
Great test and result 👏 So with this mod the overall distance you have got for a speedrun (guaranteed) is 0.650 of a mile, and possibly more as the only reason you stopped was because you couldn’t see it lol Does that receiver only work with that radio ? Thanks for the experiment 👍
