Number 10 was really uncalled for. My cousin is a full time nurse who worked endless shifts during Covid to fight the pandemic. She actually shared with us about how the clapping movement moved her to tears as she was walking home after a long day of shift. Singaporeans are Asians who are conservative, and saying a word of thank you is oddly difficult for many. She shared how the clapping movement motivated her to work even harder and reminded why she started her job as a nurse. Bonuses, money and promotions are secondary as more begets more. Thanks for the video but hope you won’t dismiss such efforts in future without thinking from others’ point of view.
