Emily is wicked and rebellious. Eli is mentally disturbed but denied professional help. The parents give Emily nothing more than a slap on the wrist for her behaviour and then hire a handsome dude to babysit the children, knowing well what Emily is capable of. The parents are questionable.
Nope she did the right thing. That kid is irritating and parents always takes his side even after he uploaded her video. If he didn't tried to call his parents, he would still has his phone and woki toki
That's not rebellious. Rebellious is just fighting against everything parents and authority tells teens to do, she seems to have a fixation with tormenting her brother. She's all around weird.
@@chiggywiggy524 Agree and disagree. I did notice how his parents would go back on everything they enforced on him, like punishments for example. At the same time though, that girl's abnormal herself. The whole time watching this i kept thinking to myself "girl don't you have a social life, why are you so obsessed with a 10 year old?!".
Too bad for Eli and Hilary. Sam was actually a good friend at the end. Wish the ending cleared up a few unanswered questions: was Hilary's body not found outside the house? If Eli's dad claims to love him so much, why the hell does he stop his wife from disciplining the sister at the end? This was a bit frustrating to watch. Seems like all the adults, from the teacher, Eli's parents, Sam's drunk mom, and whoever took the 911 call were all braindead
And have her attack the girl in front of the police? That would be a stupid idea to keep her from regaining her composure. People in real life would snap but i don't think most of them would make it go so far that they get thrown in jail themselves for brutalizing a relative before cops.
This was a very enjoyable movie until the end when we learn the little boy had died sometime ago and was still communicating with his friend, this broke my heart and when the mother slapped her daughter for leaving him alone to go to a party that made me think if I were the mother would I ever forgive my daughter when I only ask for her to watch him this one night so that the husband and wife could have one night alone to enjoy each other then I think about the little boys sister who left him alone and let the monster get him and I realized she probably will never forgive herself and maybe she'll never be forgiven by her parents this is sad in so many ways and there cannot be a sequel because the boy is dead so I can say great movie but I do not see anyone wanting to hear the story over and over again
So, Berkeley got Hillary (she actually WAS outside of Eli's house and was trying to stop him from going back in the house; but why did she leave him her cross, when it didn't work to protect her in the end?), first, and THEN got Eli, but the movie only ends by acknowledging Eli's death? Is that right? 🤔😒 I'm so confused about a lot of things in this movie.
Burghley got Hillary on her room when she sleeps. Her outside of Eli's house is just a vision or ghost and warning Eli about Burghley and not to come back. He didn't listened so he got killed also.
So there was some sort of time travel. Or time distortion going on then? He asked sam for help and sam said he was already gone which means when sam said he was already gone sam was in the cop car after he died but eli asked for help and it came to sam when he was already dead in the timeline that sam is in.? Its comfusing so there was some sort of time/timeline/travel going on.
I'm willing to bet she's got a personality disorder. The parents aren't very responsible either. Dad forced his traumatized son to stand alone in a dark basement.
Ignoring the supernatural stuff, I was a bit of a bitch as a teen girl, but Emily, wow. And at the end she doesn’t even look upset. Just pissed off that her mum hit her
Sounds like his sister needed a diagnosis herself..... How the heck is the kid the one with a personality disorder but somehow she's normal by psychologist's standards?
SPOILER!!! WAIT?! Eli was dead for 3 hours, when he last had contact about 1 hour before the police arrived? 😮 How and when did that even happen? Then, how long was Hillary dead by the time she showed up outside of his house? 🤔 I'm so confused!
If you've never seen the movie Hereditary it's another great one. It's horror and also deals with something similar where a parent cannot forgive a teen for what happened to his younger sibling. It's kind of a confusing movie at first though but its one of those movies where you keep an eye out for clues.
Those parents! The mom got scared of the basement and just left her kids, hired that “babysitter” and never discipline the girl enough for terrorizing her possibly mentally ill brother. Also what an awful sister
Very weird parenting. The older sister is in trouble for telling her little brother a scary story that their father told her. Is that what’s going on 😂
None of this would have happened if the parents got him the mental health he so badly needed and if the parents put his teenage sister in her place. Luckily he had a ride or die friend in crazy Sam
There’s no legitimate psychologist who would diagnose a kid that age with borderline personality disorder. Doesn’t mean he wouldn’t benefit from some therapy, though. :)
@@citrusbutter7718 yeah, I've seen some wicked evil kids, even at 10yrs old.. They are usually the ones who hurt animals, and enjoys it.. If that's not a sign, I don't know what is.. there could be preventative measures to help those kind of kids, but usually the parents are to blame, because they don't believe that their "precious little angels", could be capable of doing anything wrong...😂😂😂
@@citrusbutter7718It doesn't but it does prevent many so-called ''specialists'' to diagnose them. I wasn't diagnosed with clinical depression just because I was considered ''too young'' for that.
@@minnarosenqvistmr Mental illness/disorder is NOT synonymous with ''being wicked''. You know that most mental disorders are NOT dangerous, and not all ''wicked'' people are ''ill''? Laughing emojis are also inappropriate here, plus you missed the point completely.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 did I say that everyone who has an mental illness, is wicked? If you have a hard time with reading comprehension, I get it.. it's hard to read.. And I can put smiley faces wherever the F I want.. it's not your job to watch out for what I or anyone writes.. Maybe take a deep breath, and go for a walk.. Oh,and learn English better, because you most certainly can't understand it ...
It seems like this movie is based off as a real case. But it involves a little girl. She wants to go see her friend and her friends. Older sister killed her in the woods
stranger things except if the adults and older teenagers don't see the monster and din't believe the kids💀😭 el eli use light and fire yet get sent to ripoff upside down💀💀💀
9:05 so the friend doesn’t believe him, but when you introduce a portal. That’s what convinces him. Also, I’m pretty sure there’s already an evil villain that’s involved with a furnace/boiler. That goes after his victims in this case kids. Only for that villain to be caught. On the verge of death, offers up his soul. Now he has powers to come after you and your dreams. Frederick “Freddy” Kruger, You’re not safe in your dreams & you better hope he doesn’t give you the finger. When your fingers, though, it’s a pretty good time for him. It’s only pain in misery for you. Lol
No, it’s totally reasonable that Sam didn’t believe him until he saw the portal. Sam doesn’t think any of the supernatural stuff would be real. Which is pretty much normal. But when he finally sees a supernatural portal that convinced him by makes sense.
