I don't think the dance trainers really wanted to be mean to them. They were much better than before but I think they just wanted to see if everyone in the group can work well together . But idk, that's what I just see. :)

No I think it's true. Even the artists who are pros, such as Minzy, know that they need to improve through that kind of criticism. And as a result, even pros become critical to those who are junior idols, because they want them to succeed. It just takes a matter of time to perfect it to the best of the trainers' expectations. Even those who are pros know that they will never stop until they get every minor detail right for their live performances, because they are so used to it now, and know that routine. That's the kind of dedication the trainers look for, and what senior idols look for.

I love Minzy so much. Even tho the other unnies are having a bit of trouble with the dance, she still takes the time to teach and try to make them improve while keeping a very positive attitude positive way :)) unnies fighting!!

Oh My Oh My !! I thought the vocal instructor was the only one who is strict. Apparently the dance trainers are also not easy to be pleased either. I can see that their friendship is getting stronger. I can sense the bond among members. But legit tho , this feels like a survival show rather than a variety show. SO INTENSE !!! Still love it. But if it mainly goes for variety route, they couldnt create a high quality girl group. Also, as u know the vocal trainer and the dance teacher both are perfectionist, they dont want to have any flaws. So, initially a variety show will become survival show gradually and inevitably

The trainers are harsh but I think it works for them because forcing them to practice as a group will make them practice harder, esp the ones who don't or practice less when left alone. And it's easier for others to spot your mistakes than yourself

I really really loved this, how everyone cared for and worked hard together, and encouraged one another even when it seemed impossible! The teamwork and love for the team made me tear up a little bit, I was so proud by the end, even before you all passed!

with dancing and training groups,there would ALWAYS be a need for a strict teacher as well as the 2nd gentle teacher. i'm no professional and only dance as a hobby but since childhood i would join summer classes of different genre of dance and the gentle teacher (in this case Minzy) would help me greatly improve but without the stricter teacher, i wouldn't really be pushed towards my limits of learning and striving to be better. it's essential for the learners to have both kind of teachers :)

I'm watching this in 2019 and enjoying it so much. I really like all of them and are people I would want to know in my everyday life. As to Minzy she's not in this show to show how talented she, that's a given. I believe she choose to be on this show for friendship, her entire life has been training, no social life or close friends. See how she's bonded with Somi already and interacting with all the others. Also I am impressed with the respect the others give her, they well know her talent, experience, and fame. Just an old guy enjoying Korean TV here in LA.

I see that people are really hating on the trainers in the comments...Honestly, I kinda agree with some of the things they said. They’re trainers, it’s their job to nit pick everything even if the girls aren’t experienced dancers. The point of the show is to shape them like a girl group, so they treated them as one. Every strict trainer is like that, not just them. If they’re more laid back, the girls would most likely slack.

The problem for me is they are treating them as idols. They should take in account that not all of them do dance and sing everyday. They are there to learn and not just practice the moves given to them.

Whenever I see these situations, especially amongst idol groups, I can't help but be reminded of Heechul's story that he would talk back at the manager, gets away with it and is allowed to leave. xD Imagine if Minzy or Somi did it here, it would be hilarious, but I guess being the maknaes of the group, it's going to seem arrogant rather than funny to the rest of the group. xD

After looking at several clips it seems as if proper explanation of the dance moves are lacking. This could be just down to editing, but it seems as if the instructors aren't best at teaching those with little to no natural talent. Sometimes it helps being more tactile so the learners can feel the moves better.

I never think that minzy is good at all in danceer and singing . when she is in 2ne1 but when I watch this show. I am starting to hate YG right now . why they hide her talent ? she is so good at all with dance , sing and rap also. when she said that , she will join new group. I am starting to dislike the dance trainers and this season because they're taking it a lot more seriously than season 1 and the guy is not even treating them nicely to be honest he's kinda arrogant to me. I think minzy is a better trainer than them lol. They didn't even give a lot of encouragement to them and keep acting like they're so bad even when they already did very well in the second one like seriously??? 😑

YG Trash imagine if someone flat out said the reason why they didn't practice is because you seem weak and they're not afraid of you and don't take you serious. But yet you worked your ass off to make a name for yourself in the K-pop Industry as a choreographer for idol. i agree. The dance trainers cant really blame them for being stiff or blah blah. it's not that most of them practise to be an idol or a dancer. and sometimes your flexibility can be lacking as you get older so...idk why they take this so serioua *sigh*
