Crazy thing is, if this game doesn't have input lag due to shitty net code, it's instantly WAAAY better than smash...at least for me. Like I could never ever get used to the input lag. You legit had to predict a full 2 seconds into the future at all times just for the game to be playable which is an unrealistic thing to ask players to do. If it wasn't for the fact that when Nintendo made SSBB (Wii) it DIDN'T have lag or input delay as PROOF that they COULD make smash 4 online experience not shit, I wouldn't be as upset because I'm no net code expert. BUT if it has been done before I never understood why they couldn't do it again. Greed? Sheer laziness? I'll never know I guess. But whatever...I haven't had the chance to play this game but I'm hoping it doesn't have severe input lag. I haven't heard anyone complain about it yet but idk.

The respect I have for the Multiversus team is unreal. They are making a free to play cross-platform Smash Bros game with beloved characters from every corner of WB's franchises, and they added ultra instinct Shaggy with a canonical explanation to his powers, albeit a weird explanation.

i predict this game wont last a full year. it looks stiff and slow, when we got smash bros, and Mortal Kombat, and DBZ and naruto ect ect ect fighting games like this just have no place. the idea is steller but like playstation and the old nick toons, this is doomed to fail (and i mean the playstation and nickelodeon games that also tried this idea)
