Played it back when it first released, loved the hell out of it. The remake truly does it justice, and even adds a ton of actual improvements imo.

Hope they continue the trend and remaster the other 2 sequels. The first one is indeed the best in the series but the complete saga being remaster would be awesome!

@@tiredasianzombie9120 Best in the series? I think most people agree that goes to number 2, where everything gets improved over 1.

@@Ordealux I agree on mechanical improvement of 2 but the first's amtosphere fit the best for the story it wws trying to tell. Dark, dangers in the shadows, bleak and lonely. And it reinviogorated that survival horror genre that was getting a little too saturated with action. I think many would agree thag as good as 2 was 1 definitely set itself apart, and reason why it was worth getting a sequel.

@@tiredasianzombie9120 While I can give you that the Ishimura was a great environment for the narrative, Dead Space isn't exactly set apart from any of the other horror games, Resident Evil being almost a direct inspiration of the game and a lot of the game's identity itself is just RE given a different paintjob. 2 is where I felt they really tried to carve out it's own niche, while certainly being more action-packed than it's predecessor, I felt like they really tried much harder in 2 not only in just narrative but level design, in many unique ways that Resident Evil hadn't done (church of unitology is still one of the most memorable areas for me) and to me, that gave Dead Space it's true identity apart from anything else out there. But at the end of the day, who cares, we both like the series and it's a damn great one!

Honestly still a probable chance because even though TLOU was still looking fine they remade, remastered, rebuilt the entire fuckin game like a million times so not unheard of in AAA games.
