I'm 45 years old and I remember listening to this CD in high school over and over again, wishing one day I'd be able to play this song. I stopped playing guitar for around 20 years and just picked it up again several months ago. I'm blown away by your tutorial and now at long last I can play this song. Thanks so much! Your videos are amazing. Much gratitude all the way from America!
yet another excellent and informative video. and as I've said two or three times on this channel, I am not a six-string player but my problems are chord progressions due to lack of a musical year damage changed from heavy metal concerts and lack of experience and I don't think I've ever played an 8 Ball Blues fully aware that it's important to be able to adapt and jam along and that people change what they're playing. but also they're a different versions but what I need is a structure that is probably going to get me started and the way you present these with the cord charts.... I'm very importantly showing whether the chord is played in relationship to the bar and the beats is very very helpful. thanks again
Dave will do it, soon. He knows how to play it, it's just he wants to do studio, live, and acoustic, and he really wants to nail it. So guys, hang on tight!
Hi Dave ! Thank you very much for this extraordinary tutorial I’ve been doing your premium course since end last year alternating with your tutorials and I can say that I feel and hear the improvement. You’re the best , greetings from Mexico
Thank you for the lesson; I really like how you organize things. Makes it very clear. ("Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out" is a blues standard written by pianist Jimmie Cox in 1923 )
Been messing around with this for a while now and basically got it down, but it was missing something...your lesson has helped me plug the 'something' so now got additional stuff to work on- thanks for your help.
Hi Dave. I started learning guitar via youtube videos and experimenting. Youre a great teacher and I thank you for helping me make big steps in my first months! This fingerpicking beauty will be one of my next projects. Please keep it up 😁👍
Exceptional tutorial Dave. Although I'd worked out the bare bones of this tune this lesson really nailed all the details and is particularly helpful on timing which I really need to improve. Totally comprehensive and very clear presentation . Best tutorial format I've ever come across from an A1 tutor. Thankyou so much. AndyZ
Dave, you did a great job on this tune. I have learned a few songs recently from your work and you make it fun. Your "Never Going Back Again" lesson is excellent. I've just about got it under my 70 year old fingers (ouch!). Now I need to work on this "slap strum" technique. Well done and all the best.
@@GuitarZero2Hero aaand as i swaped to the new strings i hitted the guitarre with a tool and got the first bump HAHAHAHAHAHAH NO JOKE ! worse feeling eva hahaha :D
Are you running the guitar straight into the Focusrite, or are you running through the amp then out to the interface? Your sound out of that ES2 is really, really good.
Nice tutorials bro🔥 I literally only watch you and no other guitar channel I'll be so glad if you shoot a tutorial about Happy by NF, This'll mean the world for me. But thank you anyway for your great passion.❤️

its always at first sign tricky, but when u detect the pattern und go step by step rly, its getting real easy :). but it takes time defenetly. i guess it takes 1 month for me i guess. will see :) .
I would love for you to do some songs by Mcfly, especially the acoustic live version of No worries, It's such a simple a beautiful song. With fairly easy chords and a nice strumming pattern
Hey Dave! ( or… @GuitarZero2Hero ) I was just wondering if you could do a lesson on “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John? I really want to play it but I can’t find any good tutorials on how to play the song. It’s ok if you’re not able to! So ya I was just wondering if you could do a lesson on “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John!
Can you do a video on 10 songs that’s are easy to sing and play? I’m very good with chords but for some reason I am really struggling to sing and play at the same time? Something is just not clicking!
Great video!! Also WHENEVER you can, can you please do the song Get Her by boywithuke plzzzz. It has a guitar riff that I’m having trouble learning by ear.
Hi Dave! really love all of your guitar tutorials! Keep it up! I have a song request, can you do She by Ed Sheeran? I'll be really glad if you'll accept my request!💚
