I don't play this gun because it doesn't match my playstyle, which is to get into a match and get killed immediately

I usually don't end up using that gun because I'm too busy poisoning enemy hunters, dealing damage to enemy hunters with dumdum ammo, dealing damage to enemy hunters with shotguns, dealing damage to enemy hunters with any variant of Winfield M1873, killing armored with poison damage, dealing damage to enemy hunters with melee, dealing damage to enemy hunters with crossbows...

People want a spam gun so they can miss shots without being punished. Naturally that's not gonna work with a 3+1 capacity.

Crytek makes medium ammo rifles more expensive than long ammo mosin + they should increase bullet drop off to 30m on medium ammo not 20 which is the same as compact ammo.

When I was doing its mastery I believe I found the best way to run this, its actually pretty good for what it does. You run it with incendiary ammo with either dual also incendiary scottfields or a fanning scottfield swift. Logic behind this is that this gun is best for storming places, while still having rifle capabilities. Incendiary helps you push since people on fire tend to retreat, it also gives you time to top the gun up. Dual or fanning because the gun biggest weakness is being pushed while reloading, so you can still keep putting loads of rounds downrange while moving or for just deleting a pusher.

I love the cyclone but is it worth 430$ more then base Vetterli for faster fire rate? not for me.

I fucking love the cyclone. Use it almost every single game. The only time it feels weak is in close quarters. So I run the Scottfield swift with fanning to somewhat make up for it with more ammo or use the bat for melee and use a different tool like the quad d or penny shot. Super fun gun

Its no wonder why no one use it. 500$ for gun that is mehhh at max. 3+1 make it really boring to use bc after 3 shoots you need to reload OR you can shoot 4th shoot and make ur relad 2 times longer. AND most painfull thing is that you cant kill hunter missing a bar unless you hit head. For that much money i would prefer use mosin or lebel. If you dont like long ammo you can always use regular vetterli for 1/3 of cyclone cost. Its just too expensive and unreliable

Basically, I find this weapon very interesting and fair due to its low capacity and high rate of fire, but once again the price is way too exorbitant. A Mosin is still the more sensible choice as it is versatile and strong and that is exactly Hunt's problem. Many high-priced weapons are overshadowed by cheaper weapons such as the Nagant officer's carbine because it is extremely powerful, shoots quickly and is significantly cheaper to purchase. That's why I almost never buy the Drilling or the Uppercut because the price is too high, even though I like these weapons. If you're unlucky, you'll buy these weapons and die before you even fire a shot, and losing so much money in such a small amount of use just isn't worth it.

only thing I hate for it is the sights, I know theyre following the vetterli sights, but it doesnt feel good using it, maybe if they made the sight pointy, like how the officer carbine is or maybe like how the vetterli silenced is. and maybe make it less expensive? we know its a medium ammo one so its better than the officer with that ammo type, BUT its 4 shots and reloading the 4th shot after spamming all 4 is just a hassle, just some features that a carbine need, cant fight close range if youre stuck reloading after 4 shots and medium ammo guns have less ammo as well

People dont use it because its expensive and somewhat hard to use. With some practice, i think its one of the best guns for close/ medium range actually! Fastest fire rate for medium guns and 4 bullets if needed, 2 more than drilling🤔

I play this gun, often, but with Incendiary ammo. For some odd reason I’m better with than the regular Vetterli now 😅 Great video, Hornet! You’re insane!

the gun doesnt feel great due to two reasons; effective ammo pool is 3 rounds before reload. you need 2 to down someone if ur not a god (even if they are missing a bar). leaving u with 1 spare and 1 emergence use round. once u fire ur full load it takes awhile to reload. A normal vetterli can do nearly as much as this gun far cheaper. a fix would be to give this gun +1 bullet. imo.

I find this gun to be effectively the same as the nagant officer carbine but over 3 times as expensive. Sure at medium to long range it'll typically take two hits to kill instead of three but is that really worth the price tag?

Does the High Velocity ammo change the recoil on the Cyclone too? Like it does or at least used to do on Officer Carbine.

I like the cyclone, but to unlock it you need to play with the basic Vatterli a lot. And, with most base weapon variants now being unlocked, there is little reason to choose it over something like the Centennial with hv round or Drilling. Not mentioning that it is overpriced quite a bit.

it's a weird jack of all trades. It can spam but it's ammo pool is low so you could be better off with fmj fanning or something like the dumdum cennty or nagant carbine in the open. but it's not strong enough to contest directly against long ammo or other high cost guns like a C&K so your spending almost x5 the price of a stock vetterli for a mid gun

Gun is mediocre and costs 500 bucks. I'd rather just bring long ammo for the damage, or for fire rate it's hard to beat the winfield or the officer carbine

I think that no one is using it since the Carbine got buffed (well, de-nerfed and dum dum) and it's way cheaper with a larger magazine. The price tag makes no sense because of course the excuse is "Well it's medium ammo" but to be honest the difference between medium and compact ammo is almost non-existent.

This is gonna sound dumb but high key I only don't use the Cyclone because of its awkward reload and lack of a skin. Like it came out in the battle pass and didn't get a skin with it and the only skin for it is in the bb shop. Just kinda stupid if you ask me.

I was hyped for the game when I first saw it. Bought it, logged in to play. Turns out I'm built different..... In a bad way so I stopped trying to play anymore because whether I was trying or not, I'd die in the first 10 mins of the match xD.

I think the reason is literally the same why noone played the centi or the uppermat for so long, its awkward to use, has 124 damage and other guns do its nieche pretty much as good. In the Cyclones case the 4 bullets are just shit if you dont do headshots only. 124 damage is always just awkward to use, most enemies kill you instanly when youre downed but you need 2 hits. The fast firerate is nice, but you can also just use the officer carbine and get pretty much the same result, yes a bit slower but you get double the ammo and a better way to replenish ammo. Its also way too expensive in order to make the "poor" players want to buy it.

I think the 3 biggest reasons no one uses this gun are the irons, it doesn't deal over 125, and it's price tag which is eh to me on all parts I like the irons on the vetterli and the fire rate gets around the 123 damage

Low ammo capacity, expensive, and it's medium ammo...which is the worse ammo type in the game. If you can play within it's strengths in can be very good in a compound fight, but you'd be better off with the officer carbine.

to expensive. i picked up one a few games ago and got a bunch of kills over the span of like 4 or 5 games, felt pretty good, but i would never pay that much for this gun. but atleast its not as useless as drilling
