I will enlighten more on how players are missing the shots. It's not about pocketing the ball, it's all about cueball placement. Adjusting the aiming is very tricky when you add spin on the cueball. There are a lot of factors to consider, some of them are object ball throw, spin induced throw, cut induced throw, deflection, and correct power to use. Of course there are many more to focus but those are the 5 factors that mainly causes miss-pocket. If you think this sport is easy, you'll have to think twice and even more when playing. I am an intermediate player and after a tournament, trust me, you'll be dizzy af such as playing good chess against good people Edit #1: Shot No.18 is an elementary mistake because there's no added side spin but just a fatal aiming error that shouldn't happen if you're playing in a world class tour
Agree. When i started to play more often, its easy to pocketing the ball. But, i always end up blocking the cue ball by my self. And when i learned effect and spin, damn its so hard to pocketing the ball. But my cue ball often end up in good spot for the next ball. And thats what im working for right now
@@CidKagenouNotShadow All that matters for this video is the shot, not the shot before that got them in the situation. Everyone that has played 1 game of pool knows that cue ball placement is key. None of what you said relates to the OPs comment in any way. All you wanted to do was sound smart. No one asked how the players got into these positions.
Missing an easy shot makes me wanna break my cue... The most unforgettable moment for a pool player... You can easily forget the great shots you've done, but bad shot like these haunts you...
@1:20 think we've all been there, trying to convince yourself you can pot it in the corner without scratching in the side lol "if I just put a LOT of spin..."
Quite why you think the following shots are "easy" - 20, 17, 16, 13, 12, 10, 9, 8, 5 I've no idea. Shot number 10 Karl Boyes the commentator even says it's far from easy!
If you think most of these are "easy" especially center stage in a big tournament you def. don't play pool. Just b/c it's often expected for them to make everything doesn't change how difficult some of these shots still are.
I play in a pool league and I miss some of the stupidest shots ever 😂 like shots that are right in the pocket and I hit it at the wrong angle and it comes out of the pocket 😂
If this is a top, 16 should be number 2 (1 is pretty bad). A child could have seen that the white was going to go in off. Altough I agree that some of these shots were not easy at all.
