Honestly, I don't even know why Asian countries even bother participating in global competition sprinting events. They never even come close to winning & never will. Europeans, African, & Americans are just geneticly faster.
Regardless of any practical considerations, big kudos to the women for their determination to get it right. They will learn from their mistakes while others may not. This shows they are first class people already.
@@davidasingleton8943no one said otherwise She said it’s better than giving up/doing it the wrong was and being DQ seems like you just wanted to say something
Kudos to them, for wanting to get it right. And, they never gave up ❤❤ Once the baton was passed, I could tell that lady can burn up some track, fast. Watch out, every one else!!
for those confused, the yellow line on the track is called the passing zone, once out of the passing zone you can be disqualified if you haven't passed the baton. they stepped out of the passing zone, making it an illegal handoff. they went back into the passing zone so they can pass the baton. they were disqualified however bc they missed the first try handoff. -track runner
There are two lines known as Exchange Zone, where baton has to be exchanged inbetween. Before the first exchange zone line there is acceleration zone 👍
People are just human,i respect them for trying to correct instead of getting it wrong and trying to cheat. It looks embarrassing but to actually try and correct that mistake is really amazing.
Explanation: for a hand off to be valid, the baton has to be passed in a specific spot on the track. They went back to make sure they handed it off in the right spot, so they wouldn’t be disqualified
@@lAmWrath Thanks a lot. I’ll just add this reply to the massive pile of hurt I have built up inside of me. The pile of hurt that grows every day, when I see things like this, or hear people make fun of asians. 😐
@@dott8348 They won't. None of them can even make it past the preliminary heats of the Olympics in any running event, whether it's sprints or distance. 🤷🏼♀️ Ofc Asians ppl accel exponentially in other activities such as intelligence & strategic thinking, but when pit against Europeans, Americans, & Africans in any physical competition of speed, our biology always gives us the physical advantage over them due to their smaller frame.
Without context it looks like the receiver is scolding The Giver😅 with context I'm proud of them for taking a last place rather than a disqualification❤
It is very comedy as well as feeling sad for those Chinese athletes . It feels very bad doing such a mistake like that at international event.Best of luck next time.
@@AkashSingh-ry7of Sometimes the body refuses to function well under pressure even in pro stages Especially look at the american 4x100 team, despite being the 4 best selected athletes from a very competitive nation and yet they mess up the exchanges all the time Being a professional doesn't mean that there is no room for error
@@censura123 Just for your info, what you're talking about hasn't been a thing since Mao Zedong. Chinese athletes who their talents were discovered in early stanges are given the best life out there and their parent's were mostly poor peasants who got a house and high social status for free the kids were given free education and all of their expenses are paid by the government. are you telling me that staying poor was better than their current lives? also if an athlete is forced to do something that he does not like, it is obvious that he won't get to a world stage level at it. even north korean athletes prefer to be athletes that travel the world to compete rather than poor peasants even if they're told to do so by the government. in other words, they prefer it over poverty. i'm not a big fan of both dictator regimes, but i'm looking from the prospective of an athlete
I've done this several times before. It is all about timing and having a very good understanding of the speed the person passing the baton. If you get it wrong...then it all fails. No second chance. Not in a 4x100 metre relay.
Relays are so easy, trust me. You have time to practice handoffs ect before the game and at track practice so those players were just ass at relays or they have a bad coach. Relays are mad fun
Love all these judgmental people, never messed up, made a mistake , been emberessed... CRAZY I HAD NO IDEA THE WORLD WAS FILLED WITH SO MANY HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO JUDGEMENTAL I HAVE NO LIFE PERFECT BEINGS. IM SO JEALOUS........... RESPECT FOR THOSE NEVER GIVING UP, DOIN IT OVER AND OVER TIL THEY GET IT RIGHT...... MORE RESPECT........................................ YOUR ALL PERFECT WHY NOT DIE RIGHT NOW WHATS THE POINT OF LIVING YOU ALREADY WON.......
While what you said is true, I think that they hold higher expectation especially since they are chinese athlete and it the olympic which you expect to only bring the best of the best. And I may be wrong but from what ive seen China take this kind of competition seriously. I would be surprised if they even still have a career in sports after that.
@@Tooreal.anasia she didn't bump into her, they both passed the yellow line which means the baton should be passed before the second girl crosses the line so the second girl ran to early which didn't give them enough space to pass the baton before the yellow line
OK, so I’m a 12-year-old in cross country and track and I dropped the baton well it was actually my friend‘s fault and was halfway in my lane and we wasted about 10 seconds like five seconds really you know like being like this was your fault or like picking it up. We ended up getting second place and we got it. It was great, lol other than dropping the baton, it was great
Actually it was the girl in fronts fault. Instead of waiting for her teammate to get their she started running with the athletes in front causing them to get out of the passing zone before they could pass the baton. It’s hard to see because this video is very short and doesn’t show the full event.
The reason is that the China Team only needed to participate and complete the race in this World Championship in order to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. They may not need to actually complete the race after the mistake but I guess they were just playing safe.
Nicely toned bodies for this sport, like the rest. I believe they use their faster and fastest athletes to prepare at the last minute. Even the U.S. and Jamaica have been disqualified, reran, and etc in this even! 😂
