Normal procedures at LPPT when using runway 20 is that all departures except heavies depart from the U5 intersection, and landings vacate the runway at taxiway H1 😉
Well I see the game is buggy, no way you can have 2 planes on the runway like that without a major error. Then you cleared a plane to depart while another plane was still on the runnway, should have been an immediate error. They need to fix this. Don't take it wrong, I don't mean to insult you, but it isn't a challenge if the errors don't work. You also can't have one taking off while one is landing if they both have wheels on the ground, another 'no error'. I would look up the airport and check the prevailing winds, 2 may be more commonly used rather that 20, and would be a lot easier to use.
I see where you're coming from, completely. I think it's just a bit of leeway based on when the aircraft are detecting as having landed or departed. You're absolutely right though, I really did do myself in picking Runway 20! Haha!
Nove to see Lisbon in the game. In real life all mediums and lights takeoff from uniform 5 intersection. Only heavies and mediums upon request dude the full length
Your channel is great, but I really wish you would be CONSISTENT about including the name/designator of the airport in each and every single episode title you put out. There are 72 now, and many more to come. It would save people a lot of time and aggravation - if they are looking for learning info on one specific facility - to not have to figure out what airport belongs to "Nobody Told Me It Was Like This!". Indeed. I'd rather watch your videos than spend ten minutes finding the ones I am looking for. Thank you.
Why do you clear flights for landing while you have still have planes on the runway? That's the whole point of the game... Not really that much fun to watch like this...
Sorry you didn't find it fun to watch. I've explained in a video previously that because I'm hopeless at remembering landing clearance sometimes I just take some of the sting out of it by clearing as soon as possible. To quote the awesome JerseyAviator "planes in the air don't stop moving [though]". Thanks for watching.
