Nobody what's to repair this Samsung S7 Edge

Hi everyone, mostly I'm making videos about computer but I done this project because this is the smartphone that nobody wants to repair, so I did it. I' really glad because this S7 Edge is in function again. This is Samsung S7 Edge G935F with Octa-Core CPU.
What I got:
- Display ( with burn in shadows - not very noticeable ) $77.68
- Back glass ( looks pretty cool - good quality ) $4.20
Accessory
- USB cable ( nice and quality ) - About $4,5
- Wireless Charger ( Good - charging well even with case ) About $7
- 128GB Kingston Mirco SD card ( good for all data ) About $19
- Batman case ( pretty nice ) $3.20
- Cheap tempered glass ( good but i don't like it - tooo shiny ) $1.35
- Bluetooth headphones ( 4-5 hrs battery on max level ) About $14

@@royboy6330 just a hobby of mine, fixing phones and pc's, bought them for like 30e and full fix will come under 100 Euro so it is a good thing to do and can make you a bit of cash

I'm just in process of repairing S6 Edge. I got it on Ebay for 26€, and it is fully working and unlocked phone. Screen and back glass is smashed though and frame has some damages from falling and general use. I got replacement display for about 50$, frame for about 10$, and back glass for few bucks. I already replaced the screen and transfered all the stuff, and it works without a problem. Currently waiting for frame and back glass to arrive, hope it will all go well.

Only 2 time my s7 edge fell down since i bought this phone in april 2016 and now when i look at it, it looks like its just launched..no damage, no scratch...its perfect

I love the S7 Edge just for the VR, but the screens costs a lot for those phones. Tbh, your videos kinda relate to those clickbait tutorial videos but they are still good. Probably the music, don’t blame you cause you know, it’s not RU-vid, it’s CopyrightTube, you can’t broadcast yourself anymore

There is a way to unbrick the phone without flashing. There is a tool called frp bypass by hagzard or something like that. This tool's main use is to remove frp locks but it also has a option called softbrick fixer. It only takes couple of seconds.

I bought one of these a while back for roughly £80, it had the back coming off not even the original plus the battery was deformed at the bottom like someone tried to pry it out then gave up, this made it hard to put the back, back on, it also has a small half circle blob midway up left screen which I left, all i did was replace the battery (which was flatter as new) and the back cover with a more original looking one and works perfect, been using it ever since!

You are using Brazilian rom on this device, but you can use a custom Rom to update to Android 9.0 in One Ui

You should install Magisk instead of SuperSU: it has a lot of features. Magisk can hide root and so, allow to some apps to run with root (Some apps like: Pokémon GO or banking apps won't work with root). Nice video, keep going!

It's definitely profitable, although getting the parts from other countries is a pain, partly because there's a fee on chinese products in EU now. Repairing an iphone is the same profit but takes way less time. A week compared to months for the s7 edge.

I think the reason no one wants to repair those is the price of the replacement parts, just the screen alone costs as much as the value of the phone. It's not like they are too difficult to repair, they are about as difficult as any other glass back phone.

Even if you buy a good curved glass it always detaches after a while so a non curved glass or a plastic display cover are better. Only alternative is uvglue, but needs uv lamp and is laborious

Since you rooted the device, you REALLY shouldve gone for the OneUI ROMs on xda developers to give it a newer Android version because at this point, knox is already gone so why not. Also, use the original glass back. This new one looks very fishy to me and many ppl may mistake you for using a fake.

Just so you know, you have to flash a certain file to the phone right after flashing twrp, otherwise you will always end up in a bootloop. I don't know what the file is called but ist something in the neighborhood of "boot patch for galaxy s7"

Wish u were my neighbor.. I'd pay u to refurbish my s7 edge too.. Love my coral blue s7 edge.. But display has some scratches so does the fingerprint sensor.. Even samsung is hesitant to even change the battery..

That is the main problem bout repair/replace the touchscreen or display , they come in a full set(frame) witch not necessarily .

I had this myself with a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that I accidentally dropped on the floor, shattering the front screen (phone still usable though). The minimum I was quoted was £160, but the average was closer to £200. I could have bought another phone for that price...

@@EB-xp2mz Not in all cases bro, long time ago i worked smartphone repair, if the battery is good than all is okay, also this is an original Samsung battery and now only some cheap replacement are available, but these cheap replacement are not really good and safe
