Card advantage and deck thinning has always been good, and it only got better as the game progressed. Being able to draw 6 or 5 cards with no cost or setup is absurdly strong, even back then. So that’s why it was changed. If it’s any consolation, there’s a Slifer support card that allows both players to draw 6 cards with the only setup being having to special summon Slifer from the GY. And Card of Demise saw some niche play in Floowandereeze since the archetype is all about normal summoning anyways
Yeah The train should've killed given the amount of backrow in his grave, because i mean, tge second effect banishes them all, turning off his altar of resurrection play, and dealing 200 per card, so I don't see any reason as to why he didn't active it It has that effect in the anime too,right?
@@UniverseElementalistThat's what I see. The anime effects says you banish all Spells/Traps in *your* graveyard to deal the damage. If it included your opponent's graveyard he would've won
