I'm not a Froning fan but I agree 100% with his assessment. Tried No Bulls twice and the only thing worse than their shoes is their customer service....
I complained about 2 separate pairs of running shoes that started falling apart a few months after I got them and both times they gave me the same amount in store credit and let me keep the shoes. Customer service is great IMO

I’ve worn Nobulls for eight years and they are freaking awesome shoes. Only problem I have is the narrow toebox, Tyr and strike mvmnt seem to be better for that. Awesome video Hiller, good work mate. Thank you especially to Alexis, appreciate the use of your humble abode for this scientific endeavor.
I have the original nobull with the superfabric and love them. I have metcon 5s and love them. Just got some TYR ctx-1 and they are better than both. My new favorite shoe.
I have 4 pair of the nobulls. I basically purchased them because I get a military discount which makes the price a little better. Also, I have not had any major problems with them and I crossfit 5x per week and weigh in at 235 pounds. Granted, I have not tried any other shoes since returning to crossfit after a 10+ year break, due to injuries, but so far no real problems.
Doesn’t nobull openly support foundations that support legislation, that allows genital mutilation if minors and laws that give minors rights over such medical procedures?
I have several pairs of No bulls trainers, 1 pair of trainer +, and I have two pairs of their sandals. I’ve had the trainers for years and competed in them, the sandals for a few years and the trainer + are about 6m old. I love all of them and have had zero issues. The only thing I don’t like to do in my nobulls is run. I have metcons and actually prefer my nobulls over my metcons. I used to have nanos and they were my fave and I wore them out and because I liked my nobulls I never got more nanos. I did enjoy the video. I must say, this turned into how durable the ninja blender is too!
All I could think about was how are you going to clean the grill after that!? I have pretty bad plantar fasciitis after having my daughter in July and wouldn’t touch nobulls with a 10ft pole. On Clouds have been a lifesaver. Just as expensive but better on the feet.
Ah, just how I like my no bulls, al dente 🍝! I wore no bulls when I first started CrossFit because everyone around me had them, then I tried learning double unders in them and my shins/calves/ankles said he'll no. I'll admit, they (originals) are great deadlifting shoes because there is nothing to them 🤣.
Hiller, I wore NOBULL shoes everyday for like 2 years (2 different pairs). I started getting super painful lower back/hip pain after a while and I could just never figure how I hurt it or how to fix it. I randomly decided to get new ASICS (nimbus) and after about 2 or 3 weeks the pain was almost completely gone. Tia recently revealed that the back pain she was experiencing was loweback/hip pain I’m betting you her NOBULL contract to wear their shoes is fucking up her career
I got the first Nobull shoe (all white Brooke Ence trainer) at a pop up store at CrossFit Solace. Fast forward, got the latest gum trainers. No difference. Hard af. P.S. what size is that shirt you're wearing?!?! CA Hormones Medium? Lol.
Legit love the fit of no bulls and my first pair lasted me 3 years. My newest pair I had to break in and Nikes are way too narrow and bulky for me. No bull reminds me of the Nano 2.0s. Definitely agree they are too expensive.
i wear 4e wide shoes. i bought a pair of these a few years ago and couldn't even get my fat foot in the opening of the shoe. the return process was fine, just took a while to get my money back. haven't tried anything else from them.
My last nano’s the OG’s fell apart after one workout. My first set of Nobulls after a year of working out 6days a week in them are still in great shape. My original Nano 2’s were the best shoes. I wish Rebook would just keep making them. My other Nanos 6’s 8’s all fell apart. Just bought a new pair of Nobulls, hopefully they hold together.
i still have the OG Reebok Nanos Red ones that you put in the oven to form to your foot. Those damn things are indestructable! Nano 7's are the only pair of Nanos I never did like.
I have nothing bad to say about nobull. Their shoes holding up way longer then any another shoes I ever wear. And I had always great experience with customer service.
Eh I really like my NoBulls. I do get a discount tho for military. I got a pair of metcons and feel they are too stiff, I cannot run in them even after broken in. Started wearing them to work instead (healthcare) and everyone thinks I’m wearing high heels till they see me- the stiff heels click so loud.
Ive had metcons 4 through 8 and I feel like each newer model I like more than the last and I use them for practically everything. Its hard to imagine wearing anything else at this point.
Everybody is different, but I found NoBull trainers (3 different pairs in a five year period) uncomfortable, slippery, and lead to lower back pain. I wore a pair of Muji sand shoes to the box one time and, not only was I more comfortable, had better traction, and was pain free, I performed better across all aspects of the workout. Have been wearing Muji sand shoes ($40AUD) ever since.
I own a pair of the leather trainers, which stretched out nicely to fit my feet. For the regular superfabric trainers, how hard is it to come out with wide sizes? People like KneesOverToes guy and the Barefoot sprinter have reached the masses. Soon it will be the Tyr CrossFit Games.
I have 2 pairs of RADs. I also have had multiple pairs of metcons, no bull, nanos, and vans and RADs are my favorite. They are wide, comfy, and feel comfortable for runs.
I’m still upset and haven’t got over the fact that despite being an ‘international’ brand they don’t offer discount to British military… even when we are living in the USA and share an office with American Military!!!
Ive worn since 2015 and only like the black ones myself. I love how they are flat :) i use other shoes if running over 3-4km. Just ordered a new pair and wear them for years. Everyday. I had bought a pair of Metcons and my sole and outer feel apart in the week. Definitely not for everyone:)
As a company in general they're garbage, they've wholesale stolen marketing videos shot for shot from independent film makers, their profit split for the athlete jersey shirts was criminal, and their customer support and ability to restock is terrible.. As a shoe, I have no idea how people use them, I've tried on friends shoes and they're like wearing wooden clogs..

Almost 2 years ago I bought a pair and they ripped after 2 months, I complained and they replaced them. Then those pair ripped in a month. Never again. I've been told that they upped their quality since then. The price has increased by 50% since then. I think they are a rip off company and they're taking advantage of the Crossfit community.
I’ve had the same pair of nobulls since 2018 and they’re still going strong. I have the trail runners and hate them though. Sooo guess it depends on which ones you get 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I was given 2 pairs, both pairs didn’t even last 2 months, worst shoe ever, I almost fell off my concept 2 bike when you started blending that shoe, funnest thing I’ve ever seen.
I'm sorry - but sometimes Crossfitters drink too much of the community kool-aid. There is NO shoe that is worth more than $60, unless you have a unique problem with your feet. Anyone else who spends more than $60 on a pair of sneakers has more money than sense. I don't care if your sister is selling them. The materials that go into a shoe are fairly inexpensive. You're paying for the marketing. The research on shoes has already been done, so there's no longer a need to subsidize it.
One of my first shoes were nobull. They felt great for a few months too, but after 90 days or more they started falling apart, got uncomfortable and flat and my wife’s nobulls broke even before mine (and I worked out twice as much in mine and twice as hard) I’m kind of on the fence with no bull. Love the look. Love the feel, but they could not really hold up. I will try a second pair eventually though.
LOL! I have 1 pair of AllBull trainers, 2 pairs of Metcon 5's and 5 pairs of various versions of Nano's Reebok IMO is far above anything else. NoBull is trendy crap.
