Thanks for this very informative video. Wanted to buy a NocoBoost a while back but did not as I could see the leads are too short to ground it where Toyota recommends you on the left side of the engine. However seeing that you grounded it to the strut tower bolt and nothing happened.THANK YOU for this post. I won't be stranded again as I was and had to call roadside assistance to jump start
I thoroughly endorse the NOCO. I have the GB40 which is probably a bit of overkill, as the GB20 is more than up to the task. They really are as simple to use as you showed. In fact, the hardest part is getting the fuse box plastic cover off but I'm now an expert having had to do it a few times. I'd also recommend the optional hard case from NOCO which adds further protection.
@@paul_nwsxs funny how even the Toyota dealership said they know it’s an issue. And there are thousands of people complaining about the new batteries. They made the battery smaller. I should be able to not drive it everyday without worrying.
Because the Yaris does not have to be driven to charge the 12 volt battery, any ideas how long it would need to be switched on for to fully recharge from flat once it has been switched on with a power pack. Thanks.
Nice one Paul, hopefully I'll never need it, but I'm off on my holiday soon for a couple of weeks & this has been playing on my mind a little even tho the lady at toyota said it'd be fine after two week none use.......Chinese for tea 😂
Said to dealer I am tossing up top of the line Yaris for features, or cheapest petrol (we can still get petrol here) for longer life of 12 volt battery. He said all I need do for either car is disconnect battery before go away and car will always go when I come back after long trip (I am thinking 6 months). Is that true?
