dang, I wish you lived in the 904... I would love to do it myself, but with educated supervision to keep an eye on my to make sure I dont jack it all up. I'd gladly pay. My "first kayak" ever shows up in the next few weeks.. I am trying to do my research and get all the electronics ready for when, it gets here.... any and all tips and suggestions are really appreciated... thanks again!!!

Purchased the dual USB adapter and the spiltter- it is awesome 👍 - Feeding both the Fishfinder and USB port

Only thing is you have to disconnect the battery from the USB ports or the green monitor light on the USB ports will drain the batter dry over a few days. That USB adapter should have had a On/Off button right on the side of it. Nocqua does sell a inline switch but that switch also has a light on it! Doh! And its not mountable.

Yes. YakAttack simply put their logo on the Nocqua battery.

Late finding this video but exactly what I needed to see.. I've only used the NOCQUA 10ah once with my Humminbird Helix 7 and it works great... Question is, if I buy the splitter and USB connector, will it have enough to run my Helix and the GOPRO all day (usual trips are 5 to 9 hours) Thanks for the help

I don’t believe you’ll haha any issues. 9 hours may be pushing it if the GoPro runs all day but 5-7 shouldn’t be any kind of issue.

So I have a question. Have you ever had an issue with this set up? I’ve had my set up like you have for 4 trips no issues (the splitter with USB ports) I actually had my first issue this morning on the water. I literally was on the water 5 minutes and my sonar (helix 5) shut off. I unplugged and plugged everything in and was good to go until about 10 hours later and I lost power again to my sonar. I noticed my usb wasn’t illuminated so I ended up unplugging the splitter and usb and just plugged the battery directly to my sonar unit. No problems. Sonar started right up. Here’s the mystery. I came home and plugged the battery into the splitter and tested both connections to the usb wire. They both powered it no problem. I’m very confused as to why the usb lost power/sonar and the fact that it happened 5 minutes into my outing says overheating isn’t a factor. Do you think the splitter is faulty?

I’ve never had an issue. I would reach out to Nocqua. They have amazing customer service and should be able to help.

Cool beans…! Yo got a question…? Is there anyway to piggy-back 2 of those 10amp hr batteries..? I have 2 and instead of unplugging and switching it would be pretty trick… just wondering.

Nice video. I have a yakpower 5 circuit switch which is powered by a Nocqua 10amph battery . I already have lights and would like to add a usb charger. What would be the best way to tie in to the yakpower circuit with the sae cables for a usb charger?
