The build-up on that was perfect. Good performance against Max, he's a quick learner on this game. Must admit I'm not sure how I'd perform against him, I've never played against a Noctis who relies on fundamentals.

@@CrossoverGameReviews That's how it goes nowadays it killed my interest in Strive, I was hoping for Jam but she's nowhere in sight. Holding back characters for too long is dangerous, Tekken 7's launch felt like a party I wasn't invited to when Julia wasn't there and it killed my enthusiasm.

Noctis is good, it's just about how you utilise his kit. He's definitely a very bare-bones and entry level character, but he's also one of those types that I see as "easy to pick up but never one you master". There's lots of little tricks you can do with him. It just takes practice.

I love what Max says about my boy Noctus. He's easy to learn, but not the best. Lots of people hated the 22222 move he has, but you're not landing it fully on a good player

I think noctis is like the asuka where players that get too reliant on her parrying and b3 or feng relying on b1 and general low hurt box...maybe all characters have something that seems super useful at low ranks but then suddenly you hit this wall where it seems everyone became wise to it at the same time lol. And it suddenly becomes way harder to learn how to deal with the shit that's coming at you whilst also trying to unlearn those habits. Max is using his parry a lot but it's pretty damn punishable compared to say jin's

Should totally pick up Armor King. Fairly easy to play but hard to master due to the fundamental requirements. Has various ways to approach neutral and pressure opponents due to having wavedash, WGF and a variety of throws. This Armor King player did a lot of weird stuff in neutral that you normally wouldn't do. Like his wall ender after blocking.

That Gigas is absolutely green-rank level, try to 1,2 everything with -18 on block, the only game plan is d2 + db2 mix up, I don't know how to have a hard time fighting this gigas

OH NO! WE'RE BACK TO THE UGLY DEFAULT SKIN! :( I specifically modded minecraft with 2B mod for noctis just so I wouldn't have to watch/hear him in online matches. Because it hurts less when you lose to a cool looking character like 2B for example (and also why I'm less salty when I lose to AK than regular King cause AK is cool, and King is not).
