Noctua produces the best fans no other company could compete with. Airflow is always important to assure that the components don't overheat.

@radosaurus Wrong. There's plenty of noise normalized benchmarks out there and in pretty much all of them T30s outperform by quite a bit actually

RTX 3000 series are extremely sensitive to warping PCB and because of that the GDDR memory going fail after some use. I suggest anyone with any 3000 series especially with heavy heatsink and fans use brackets or risers to support that heavy weight and avoid any PCB warping.

Anyway those cards are going to fail. The design itself is too risky. Too much power to handle in a small area. Lead free solder and thermal cycling. It's time cases are redesigned to have the video cards always mounted vertically with the risers/adapters and rear cut outs readymade in the case. Also they need fresh ventilation to pull the air from the side panels.

I'll admit I was a hater of the Noctua color way. Only after becoming a sneakerhead & buying a pair of Travis Scott Mocha 1's is it now my favorite colorway. This build is a perfect Travis Scott theme. Just needs the Cactus Jack stickers. 😜

I really like this build. The Torrent was a good choice because it's all around good and conveniently hides the Noctua fans from being seen head on at the front intake. Original color Noctua fans don't look great through obstructed view (dust filters, case grills). The cable extensions look awesome too. The only downside in this case is that the Torrent doesn't support vertical GPU mounting and a big point of that card is the Noctua fans in the fan slots. The ASUS X noctua logo design done in the Noctua colors is sleek and classy though so still amounts to a pretty sweet build.

Most cases that already have vertical mounting options do them badly. Almost 100% the gpu is too close to the side panel. You always need to buy a seperate vertical mount if you want to do it properly

Decent build but I dislike the case choice. Should've chosen a black case instead. Literally nothing else in your system is white, so why pick a white case? Black/brown/beige combo wouldve been a lot nicer. Glad to see the custommod cables though, they look nice.

My pc is covered with noctua industrial ppc 3000 rpm fans 4x 140mm and 3x 120mm. All installed in a lian li lancool 2 mesh 😉

очень плохая пылевая защита корпуса, основная функция корпуса должна нести механическую защиту, тепловою и пылевую, а тут через пару недель внутренняя сборка покроется толстым слоем пыли и может поспособствовать перегреву и накрыть вю систему медным тазиком

awesome build however a white case is a no-no for those noctua colors, this case needs to be in a complementary color to that beige as the case makes up most of the percentage in color and the beige acts as high lights. just realized that the board is huge.

That extra copper plate should not have been installed on the NVME as far as I know. Only use it when the MOBO has no built in heatsink to cover the NVME/SSD. But other then that, awesome looking Noctua build

I really like the new i9 & Meg too. Most DDR5 stocks are out of market so I can't really comment. You can use DDR4 on MSI Mag.

Make sure you get RAM that is compatible with your motherboard! The Meg board featured in this video is DDR5, and DDR4 would not fit in the motherboard. Although DDR4 Intel 12th gen motherboards exist, you wouldn't be able to get the full potential out of your CPU without DDR5.

Ngl no amount of advertising, branding or performance would make me wanna buy anything in a brown and beige colour scheme even if it meant a few degrees cooler temps. How do noctua justifies their choice in colors? Even if their products drop temps buy 5 degrees I’d still struggle to purchase unless it was for a case that didn’t have a clear panel.

3 fan setup at the bottom is wrong it should be upside down.. Frame area of fans should be facing down to push out air... Here fan frames are facing inside pulling IN all air... Hot air created inside system should be pushed out... Kindly correct me if I'm wrong...

3 bottom fans should be intake. This is how the case was designed from the factory with the best result. It supplies cold air directly to the GPU. Torrent front fans are blowing massive air into the case. Unlike other cases, the rear side has an open grill and the entire rear side acts as an exhaust.

Got a very similar loadout and am putting it together in the next few days. I just have a black torrent and an NH-D15 chromax black. I just leave the stock fans from the torrent. I guess i will also get the custom cables, they look slick as f*ck. Just not sure if i get them black/red or black/silver.

Has the 3080 NOCTUA not been released yet or is it just terribly hard to find? Great looking build, but pairing the 12900K with a 3070 seems a bit mismatched.

Yes it will be better with 3080. Noctua 3080 will be available starting in early June 2022.

Not at all, the Torrent rear side has an open grill and the entire rear side acts as an exhaust. Two 180mm front fans blowing massive air toward the back side.

thinking of doing this with a 4090 and a 7900X do you think with that insane gou power draw this could be kept cool? probably gonna undervolt cou too as don't need top 5% for 2x the power on cpu. I'm also thinking of a partial block on back vent betweens base fans and gpu due to air leakage there before hitting the GPU.
