The slightly off bullseye would bother me, but i really don't mind the biscuit marks. They give it a bit of character. For $32, it makes a good practice board. Full price, I'd hesitate because of the bullseye. Thanks for the review!
I'm old school when it comes to darts, the perfect face dartboards are for television but I've always preferred the look of a board where you can see the veins running through it because of the biscuits.
Nodor supermatch boards play great. I always wanted the blade 5 board but after researching I picked up supermatch3. Same as a blade5 but a better spider. No bounce outs!!!! I see bounce outs all the time on blade boards on dart connect. I just never get them. Best part is the price. You just can’t beat it. I did get to try a 180 gladiator recently and found it to be excellent as well.
Huge Nodor Supamatch3 fan, have not even seen this board until now. I think maybe you were nick picking great boards for the money. Keep up the good work.
My first dartboard was a Nodor, I like the look of this one, too. The biscuits give it that vintage look! For $32, you can't go wrong. The roto locks are almost worth the few blemishes?! 🎯
Well after seeing this i'm really happy i did'nt buy the supamatch 5 as a replacement for my supamatch 3. The cracks are indeed prominently visible, they're even worse than when i unboxed my supamatch 3 almost one and a half years ago. I now have a jupiler (Belgian beer brand) dartboard and it was almost half priced, the quality is comparable to a bulls advantage 5.01 dartboard. So i'm really happy that i found this deal, zero regrets buying it!
I just bought a 3... seems pretty good to me... more chance for scoring compared to my SuperWire 2 which has a ton of staples and raised wiring which creates more bounce outs for me.
@@penknight8532 compared to the 5 in this video, the supamatch 3 looks better indeed and longlasting cause mine hung almost 1 and a half years and i train intencively for probably 16 hours per week.
I don’t mind the dartboard especially for what you paid for it. It was nice to see the Rota Lock system included I guess I am simply use to dartboards with biscuit lines. I do wish the bullseye was perfectly centered! I am very interested to see the custom darts you purchased and had made! I’ll be sure to buy something.
I have a Supermatch 3 It's not that old so I was surprised to see a 5? The veins don't bother me I quite like them. The bull not being right would annoy me. By the way my Supermatch 3 has Rota Locks as well.
Like other comments I don’t mind the spider lines but the off center bull I would. I got my uncle a SupaMatch 3 and it looked great until it got moldy (screened in porch). I have a Blade 5 waiting for my next rotation that I got off Facebook for $50. Essentially the same board for sub $40 is a good deal. That Skip Jack board is sharp though 👍
$32.00 is a very good price. I also have this board yet I have not opened it yet. The Supamatch 3 was my main board for a long time. They are basically re-branded blade dartboards, being they are all from the same family of companies. Not the best defiantly not the worst. I'll find a spot on the wall for it.
Nodor owns them all... literally bought them all out!! Imagine going to war with Winmau for 20 years and beating them and everyone thinks Nodor is owned by them lol!!
the top secret blur was great! now if they looked blurry like that in person, that'd be something! 😂 looking forward to seeing them for sure though! As far as the board...eh... hopefully just a crapper that slipped through QC? The bull was what stood out to me. You could definitely see it was quite off center to the top right on cam. Definitely would skip this, though personally I don't know if I'm buying anything other than an ASPAR board anymore anyways.
I was editing last night and got to that part of the video and was like "oh WTF it's blurry??!!" Normally I would just re-do it but at the end of the throwing demo I mentioned something about changing the flights and hitting a 180 on my first attempt. So then I'd have to re-shoot that part too. F that!! Blurry it is! Kind of cool though because I get to keep everyone in suspense with my new custom darts. It's my fav out of the 6 sets 😁
I just bought a 3 lol... didn't even know they had a 5. And I paid 20 dollars more for the 3 compared to this 54-dollar price tag. I guess I can return the 3 and buy the 5 now lol... thanks for the review! I really hate the white ring of numbers though and use my metal one from my SuperWire 2 Nodor.
You're probably better off getting a near perfect quality dartboard from red dragon. They're £30gbp and probably better quality from NODOR even though they're the same company 😅. Great video 👍🏼🎯
is it me or did they skip the supamatch 4 and went straight to 5? anyway, mine did get soft rather quick and as always the spider did end up comming out of the board after about 6 months just like the gladiator 3+. so yea lets hope i just got unlucky 2ce in a row and this doesnt happen to anyone else.
When is the Review on the KOTO Spinners coming? Saw them a few weeks ago and they looked really tempting to buy. As basic as a dart can get for a really good price
Yeah, anything is possible when they're the same company. I expect a little better from them to be honest and that's why I hold them to a higher standard
So its actually supposed to be 54... I mean it looks like a blade 2nds so maybe it is. @WorldwideDarts Would you reveiew that shot warrior dartboard Its got a nice looking design, but i was wondering about the quality of the board itself 🤔🤷♂️
It's nostalgic, These are probably "blemished" boards from the factory with some kind of QC issue. Gotta liquidate! What's the difference, especially since NODOR owns Winmau anyway. They can brand however they want🥴
Stop telling people that the Nodor and Winmau Boards are identical. They are not identical. Heck, even the Winmau 4 isn't identical to the Winmau 6! They aren't even made in the same factory and Nodor owns Winmau. They fought long and hard to buy them out. In terms of differences, the Winmau Blade 4 has a larger diameter of 18 inches compared to the Nodor SupaMatch 2’s 17.75 inches. Additionally, the Winmau Blade 4 has new Dynamic Sector Wiring that is 50% thinner than its predecessor, which allows for higher scoring potential and better averages.
You have almost no idea what you're talking about. Nobody mentioned the old Winmau Blade 4 in this video or for that matter the Supamatch 2. The board seen in this video is identical to the Winmau Blade 5. You seem to want to rant about things that have nothing to do with this video. Are you okay? Oh... by the way... they are in fact made in the same factory in Kenya. Here's the Nodor... ibb.co/PrMbtDY Here's the Winmau... ibb.co/5vgBFNg Anything else you'd like to be incorrect about today?
I have a strong feeling that this board is going to loosen up quite a bit. It's already soft after a day of use. I can't complain too much for what I paid but I won't be using it much
yeah at $33 you be being a little too picky considering a cheap board with stapled on dart ejecting round surface wires go for $25 to $40, i know because since my board walked away a while back and i can't afford another good board i've been trying to talk myself into buying cheap board just so i can start throwing again. as far as $55 for that board, as long as chunks of Sisal don't start falling off, it does have inlaid flat wires so it probably worth the money considering the options.......
It's not really $32 though. I just happened to have $35 in points because I buy a ton of stuff. Everyone else will pay $70 shipped for this thing. Is it worth $70usd? I saved people money here
yeah i know i got that, i was just going along with your storyline but i did go look at boards after that and even the name brand boards with fat stapled spiders are $50-$60 now....@@WorldwideDarts
This was their new production model. They sell a bunch of them over in China but haven't hooked up with any retailers outside of China. I wish they would because it's a shame that nobody has access to a board this nice.
Yes. Actually the intro's on the bullseye are sometimes the hardest part of the video to make. If the first dart goes into the left side of the bullseye/25 area nearest to the camera the shot is no good because you can't see the other 2 darts. To be honest, I didn't like this shot because you couldn't see the 3rd dart enter the 25. I almost kept recording but said "screw it, good enough". It's funny because most people probably don't care but I like it when all 3 darts are visible.
I was in my dartshop today and I asked about Supamatch 3 vs 5. 5 is almost never in stock. I threw on a very used Supamatch 3 and it really holds up. I think the Supamatch 3 is a better quality? I am looking for more information on it. Anyone can inform me on build quality and difference between Supamatch 3 and 5 vs Winmau Blade? Sir Worldwide darts perhaps?
I agree with you. From everything I've seen and heard it seems as though the 3 is a bit nicer. This one turned to mush on me after a week. The sisal loosened up so much that I don't even enjoy playing on it.
😵😵that is so strange. Blade wise a higher number usually means a more advanced newer board. But in Supamatch terms the 3 is better than the 5. Do you happen to know if the Supamatches have 1 sisal plate? Maybe at the time the S5 came out they are "crappy" rebranded Blade boards? Tnx for sharing the info sir
What I don't get is what happened to the 4? There was never a Supamatch 4. All very strange. I've not played on the 1 so I'd have no idea. Usually the Nodor boards are high quality though. @@seanrobesyn7808
Branding wise it is a strange idea. Especially if the 5 is worse than the 3. The 1 must be an awesome board then 🤣🤣 got new Chris Dobey Target darts with Swiss points. Boy they sure grip into the board I have to twist them out. So that's why I am looking for a decent board. I think Supamatch 5 is out of the question and the 3 is a no brainer by now.
It seems to me these days you get exactly what you pay for, sure everybody wants to save a couple bucks but only sacrifice quality for your money sad honestly these companies profit so much off crap its hard to find things that are actually worth the money that you save .....just saying
Spot on! Especially with these $20 Condor's!! They're making a killing as it's probably only a few cents in material to make a single flight. I'm glad Target came out with the much more affordable K-Flex to knock them off their perch a bit
@WorldwideDarts I agree I've paid 22 bucks for condors myself and I know deep down merely pennies to make probably a bunch of recycled straws they got for free .....lol
Huh? Where in this video did I say that? Nodor and Winmau are the same company. This board is a the same exact board as the Winmau Blade 5. The Supawire board has round wires and staples. I really don't understand your comment @@Gregory-bt9hb
